World on a Wire (Welt am Draht) is a German tv film by famed director Rainer Werner Fassbinder from 1973. World on a Wire is based on the novel "Simulacron-3" by Daniel F. Galouye. Another film version of Simulacron-3, under the title The Thirteenth Floor, was made in 1999.
