FN Minimi Para
Would it be more likely that the "L110A2" is a FN Minimi Para standing in for the L110A2? --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:01, 18 January 2013 (EST)
- I know, fixed it. --Crackshot (talk) 06:06, 19 January 2013 (EST)
- It's rear sights and flash-hider are different to the ones on the Minimi picture, which has the rear sights withe the triangular 'ears' and its flash-hider has circular holes rather than the slots seen on this example. --Sangheili1155 (talk) 15:16, 18 January 2013 (EST)

- Is this a real L110A2? Because I can't find a good image of a real one. I thought this was a cap from the film. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:46, 18 January 2013 (EST)
- The L110A2 is supposed to have a rail for a SUSAT, which I can see in the picture above and here. I can't make out a rail in the screencaps. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:50, 18 January 2013 (EST)
- Not from the movie, a picture of a British soldier firing an L110A2 in Afghanistan. It could be an early model without a rail maybe, or even a mockup of several different Minimi parts? --Crackshot (talk) 07:04, 19 January 2013 (EST)
- I'm inferring from this page that the L110A1 doesn't have a rail. --Funkychinaman (talk) 16:43, 18 January 2013 (EST)
- Honestly, I'm leaning towards the L110A1 or L110A2 here. Anyone else have any ideas? --Crackshot (talk) 19:31, 19 January 2013 (EST)
- I don't think this is an L110A1, or in fact any British issued Minimi. From the look of it I would say it is cobbled from different weapons as it has mismatched parts, such as the original folding back up sights but the later bent carry handle. As far as I know all Para models have either the standard shrouded rear sight, or in the case of the L110A2 a 19mm dovetail rail with a detachable sight. Also, as far as I can see this gun has the regular circular ported flash hider that is used on the Para models but it hard to tell. I would put it down as a Para, but it has either has the feed tray or whole receiver from an early model full size Minimi. --commando552 (talk) 18:33, 19 January 2013 (EST)
