The Good Guys (2010-2011)

The Good Guys was a television detective series that aired for one season on the FOX network from 2010-2011. The series followed by-the-book Detective Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks) as he partnered with old school Detective Dan Stark (Bradley Whitford). The series was created by Matt Nix, who also created the series Burn Notice.

The following weapons are used in the television series The Good Guys:

Handguns

Taurus PT92

Det. Dan Stark (Bradley Whitford) carries a Taurus PT92 as his sidearm throughout the series. Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks) attempts to dual wield Stark's Taurus along with his Smith & Wesson in the pilot with poor results. Pedro (Andrew Divoff) uses Taurus PT92's akimbo in the pilot with much better results. What is supposed to be a stainless PT92 is also used by Keith Williams (Mykel Shannon Jenkins) in "Small Rooms." It appears to be a non-gun however. Another stainless PT92 appears in "$3.52" in the hands of Mikkel (David Dayan Fisher) and two (one stainless, one blued) are also seen in "Dan on the Run," used by Brody (Jake Busey).

Shotguns

Norinco Model 97W Hammer (Winchester 1897 Clone)

Julius (RonReaco Lee) uses what appears to be a Winchester Model 1897 shotgun when confronted by Pedro (Andrew Divoff) while in the pawn shop in the pilot. The shotgun appears to be a Norinco Model 97W, a clone of Winchester 1897's precursor.

Norinco Model 97W Hammer pump shotgun - 12 Gauge. Imported by IAC, this is many times described to be a Chinese clone of the Winchester Model 1897 due to the Chinese literature, however it is actually a clone of the ill fated Winchester Model 1893 pump shotgun, the immediate pre-cursor to the Winchester Model 1897. The Model 1893 was designed to fire only the lower power black powder cartridges, but came at the introduction of the Smokeless Powder rounds for the 12 gauge shotgun. This model was largely recalled by Winchester and a new model 1897 models were supplied to owners, free of charge.
