Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed is a 2012 war movie and the prequel to 2003's Saints and Soldiers. In Southern France during Operation Dragoon, three paratroopers from the 517th Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division find themselves allied with a group of local Partisans in the fight against the occupying Germans.
A German soldier in American uniform carries a Colt M1911A1. After his cover is blown, Sergeant Jones (David Nibley) confiscates it and threatens him with it.
Jacques (Lance Otto), a French partisan, carries a Mauser C96 both with and without the "broomhandle" stock.
Walther P38
The Walther P38 is seen used by a German soldier. Sergeant Jones (David Nibley) is given one by a partisan, which he subsequently uses to clear out a Panzer tank.
