The Following guns were seen in the movie:

This Chinese variant of the AK-47 is seen throughout the film often carried by the character Ri Tai.  His weapon has an underfolding steel stock.  One other Type 56-I is seen with the Mountain Patrol itself - a fixed stock weapon that appears to have electrical tape wrapped around the pistol grip area.  All of these Type 56 weapons appear old and are probably made in the 1950's as they have milled receivers as opposed to being stamped as in weapons manufactured in China after 1960.  The age of these weapons would seem accurate to the story as the Mountain Patrol was largely unfunded and probably scrounged for weapons of any age and condition.

The Following guns were seen in the movie:

Type 56-1/AK-47

The milled receiver Chinese variant of the AK-47 is seen throughout the film often carried by the character Ri Tai. His weapon has an underfolding steel stock. One other Type 56-1 is seen with the Mountain Patrol itself - a fixed stock weapon that appears to have electrical tape wrapped around the pistol grip area.
