Is it possible that Lydia's use of the S&W 5906 on the range instead of her S&W 3913 is because the 5906 is live-fire? Due it being filmed on a firing range? The recoil when she fires seems realistically consistent with a live 9mm rather than a blank-firing gun that she mimics the recoil on in other scenes, and all of the shots were filmed from behind, so it seems possible. This show is known to be as real as possible in terms of actor training. | Is it possible that Lydia's use of the S&W 5906 on the range instead of her S&W 3913 is because the 5906 is live-fire? : Despite the filming at a live range, it is very unlikely that the production would risk any type of injury from a live-fire situation. There are more than a few angles (especially ones seen on the page) that show the barrel of the firearm and it is very unlikely that a camera operator would want to be in front of a gun that is firing live rounds. The only time live-fire would be likely tolerated is in reality series where the majority of the camera shots are from static positions. --[[User:Ben41|Ben41]] 02:15, 22 August 2012 (CDT) |
