I totally agree. :P [[User:Spartan198|Spartan198]] 13:31, 21 August 2012 (CDT) | ::El Dorado didn't blow up, the helicopter wreckage dragged it (it was a giant golden coffin containing a virus of some kind, not a city) to the bottom of the ocean. Thanks
Thanks to whoever corrected me on the ID of the revolver. By the way, (just out of curiosity) where is the cylinder release on that Dan Wesson? --ColonelTomb 21:24, 8 July 2011 (CDT)
- In front of the cylinder. - Mr. Wolf 22:15, 8 July 2011 (CDT)
Guns Missing that I can see
Pistol - Sniper Tau
Appears to be the same as the Wes-44 from previous games, but with a sniper scope fitted.
- Hell it does.
- Taurus Raging Bull? I guess that's where the "Tau" comes from. Evil Tim 11:15, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
- Yeah, it's a Raging Bull alright. :) - Mr. Wolf 13:54, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
Sniper rifle - T-Bolt Sniper
Bolt-action Sniper Rifle, 1 shot kill every time regardless of hit location. http://uncharted.wikia.com/wiki/T-Bolt_Sniper
Adding Pics
Also i keep trying to add a image to AKS-74U but i can't because i need more simpler hints on how to add a image to pages so i need some help on adding images so i need some guys to tell me how to add an image also displaying a image
Any idea what the pistol in the top left is?
And yes, I have the Valkyria Chronicles theme. I'm a sucker for a game about tanks, ok? Evil Tim 02:11, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
- Looks like Makarov PM or Walther PP or similar pistol. --Masterius 02:29, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
- Valkyria Chronicles, heh
Got another shot of it:
It's Cutter's gun. Looks a bit like a Makarov, but there's a control above the trigger that neither a Makarov or a PP / PPK have. Also, as a note of interest, Cutter is voiced by Graham McTavish, who was, of all people, Lazarevic in the previous game. Evil Tim 06:08, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
Walther P5
-Ranger01 07:21, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
Yup, that's the one, thanks. Evil Tim 07:27, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
- What a cool dashboard. :D - Mr. Wolf 08:26, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
OMG!
Just wanted to say: this game is AWESOME! The true definition of action game. Compared to it, CoD games are like a day in retirement home :D --Masterius 03:16, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
- I so prefer a game like this over COD:MW3, too bad I can't play it, I have every console except a PS3. D: - Mr. Wolf 08:24, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
- I played the game at the video game shop and felt like I should buy PS3 like, right NOW. They call it PS3's killer app :O --Masterius 09:08, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
- The game looks amazing indeed, and I am stuck with F2P shooters on my shitty PC. I hate console-only games. Excuse me, now I'm going to beat myself to death with my Logitech keyboard. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 14:42, 3 November 2011 (CDT)
- Yeah, it's totally unfair for such games to be console exclusive :\ --Masterius 02:19, 4 November 2011 (CDT)
T-Bolt Sniper Rifle
Why isn't the T-Bolt listed on this page it's modeled after the Finnish TKIV-85 rifle. I would add it myself but I can't add pictures from my iPad. --SmithandWesson36 09:44, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- I haven't got far enough to get a shot of it yet, I'll add it when I have one. I've already got a TKIV-85 image ready, I'll upload it when I add it. Obviously I can't really write an entry for a weapon I've never used, though. Evil Tim 09:47, 6 November 2011 (CST)
Weapon image, placed here for now:

Suppressed 92FS is not an Inox
I didn't use this shot because the video was blurry, but it basically proves it:
Note that even in bright light, the Beretta is the same colour as Nathan's suit. Evil Tim 10:03, 6 November 2011 (CST)
Note that the Beretta is not the same color as the Houge grips. --SmithandWesson36 11:46, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- I think that's just because the finish of the frame is slightly glossy compared to the grips. I'll see what that shot looks like when I get there, but you have to admit that that one shot of it being slight paler grey doesn't really prove it's bright, reflective stainless steel. Evil Tim 17:17, 6 November 2011 (CST)
The Beretta in the previous games would sometimes look like the first picture due to lighting but they were still Inox's --SmithandWesson36 17:21, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Perhaps, but these are usually black, even in strong light. They catch the light from time to time is all, they're not silver as far as I can tell from my videos so far. Notes also the silver screws on the grip in your shot are much brighter than the frame and slide are. Evil Tim 17:51, 6 November 2011 (CST)
Having played the game myself, I'll tell you right now the gun clearly is NOT an Inox. --K 17:53, 6 November 2011 (CST)
You can see the contrast of slide and frame to grip and holster strap clearly here. --SmithandWesson36 17:58, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Equally, you can see the frame and slide are not silver while the screws on the grip are. Evil Tim 18:39, 6 November 2011 (CST)
There is no way you can say that that the Beretta is black. It's just a tiny bit darker than the screws. Once you get to the level where you are sneaking ono the cargo plane you can see that it's an Inox. --SmithandWesson36 18:48, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Being very dark grey and being stainless steel are hardly the same thing. If it were an Inox the screws and slide / frame would be the exact same colour (as they are in Uncharted 2), the slide would not be dark grey when the screws are almost white. Evil Tim 18:57, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Notice that the coloring of the Beretta of the first picture is the same as the Beretta listed in the page under Beretta 92FS Inox. Also note how the screws in the picture that was originally on the page are brighter than the slide/frame.
- Actually I can't see that at all. Certainly not to the extent of the contrast on the suppressed pistol. Evil Tim 19:16, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Because the lighting is different in both pictures, the brighter screws might just be a result of the quality of the video. There is no way you can call the Beretta in the first pic a standard 92FS. --SmithandWesson36 19:24, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- But the first pic looks terrible, Nathan and Elena look like waxworks and the frame is torn at the top. I wouldn't regard is as a reliable indication of what that scene actually looks like until I've seen it myself. Evil Tim 19:29, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- The only thing that is wrong with that pic is that the frame is torn from converting it into a jpg, it's much better quality tha the pic you provided to prove that it was a regular 92FS. How much do you think the scene is going to change, that Nate is actually putting an M134 minigun in his holster. --SmithandWesson36 19:35, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Well, that the colours won't look wrong on the two human characters. Regardless, there's no point discussing this further until I get home to get the rest of the weapons screencapped. Also, how on earth do you tear a screenshot with jpeg conversion? Screen tearing is a lack of vsync. Evil Tim 19:40, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Oh yeah, I forgot that Drake had blue skin and Elena's was green. And the screen didn't actually "tear" per say, but instead doubled the image and overlapped one but put it lower and I didn't realize it until after I uploaded it. I was forced to save this image via paint, because my crappy computer can only handle that. --SmithandWesson36 19:48, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Lose the attitude. It doesn't help. Evil Tim 19:49, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Sorry man, it's not you I'm mad at, the New England Patriots just Lost and I'm pissed. I didn't mean to take it out on you, sorry. --SmithandWesson36 19:55, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Ah, don't worry about it. I'll be home in five hours or so to get the rest of those screenshots and I'll look over the video of the first stealth mission again while I'm at it. Only thing I won't get is supposedly there's a multi-only FAL and I'm not going to hit level 50 on a one week rental. Evil Tim 20:11, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Lol, I'm renting it to, but I didn't get online pass so I can't play online, but I did hear that the FAL was a semi automatic. You can get much better views of the Beretta in question during the mission where you have to get on the cargo plane and the cutscene that sets up the mission, has some pretty decent shots of it too, so I hope that helps. --SmithandWesson36 20:19, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- Still playing and recording, and I think I see what's up with that weapon. It is black, but the specular mapping for it is metallic, so in the right light it reflects like bare metal (the Dan Wesson PPC does exactly the same). There's a few weapons with weird specular settings; the SPAS looks like the entire heat sheild is chrome plated if you get the right light on it. Evil Tim 05:14, 7 November 2011 (CST)
AKS-74U
I think the "KAL-7" is actually based on the AKMSU instead of the AKS-74U because you can see in game, as well as in the title screen picture listed here that it uses 7.62x39mm AK-47 magazines. --SmithandWesson36 12:38, 6 November 2011 (CST)
Also, I think the Arm Micro is based on the MasterPiece Arms MPA930SST as opposed to the model listed as the one in game is side cocking with a rail mounted on top of the receiver much like the MPA330SST. --SmithandWesson36 14:41, 6 November 2011 (CST)
- I'll fix that when I get home, didn't see the top rail on it when I was checking my videos. Evil Tim
- Just as some notes: I now have the entire game recorded, I'll get caps tomorrow. I think the flare pistol is based on the 3-barrel Type 90 flaregun. I'm not going to include Talbot's tranq gun, the only time you see it at all it's dark, the gun is black on a black suit, and he's already almost put it back in his jacket as the scene cuts to him. Evil Tim 06:41, 7 November 2011 (CST)
Colt Defender
The comment about the Defender's Mag capacity was wrong. Colt gives it as 7+1 or 8+1 on their website.--Yo dawg 111 15:29, 4 March 2012 (CST)
Similarities to The Last Crusade
Spoiler Alert!!!
Indiana Jones has obviously had a heavy influence on the Uncharted series, but this one is ridiculous! Where to start? Third in the trilogy. A main theme is Drake's relationship with Sully, the father figure. It starts off showing a young Drake stealing the thing the badguys are after and being chased, starting his adventuring career. Drake is taken captive onto a ship where he fights his way off and jumps into the water as the ship sinks, leaving him in the middle of the ocean. When Drake and Sully are shown around Yemen by Elena it reminds me of when Indy and Marcus are shown around Venice by Elsa. Drake makes a rubbing of a clue in the knight's tomb. Drake and Sully have to escape from a burning castle. Drake stows away on a big transport aircraft only to be forced to bail out. Drake attacks an armored convoy, in the desert, on horseback, with the help of arabs who happen to be sworn to protect the thing everyone's after, and rescue Sully who's being held in one of the vehicles. Sully is shot near the end only to be miraculously fine once magic water comes into play. Of course the ancient ruins collapse as soon as the heroes get done with it. Also, duh, they talk about the actual crusades quite a bit. It just goes to show you, there's nothing really new. Everything is influenced by something before it. Greatness from Great beginnings I guess!--Acepeacemaker
You know, that is very smart thinking..Now you notice it, there is a very much similar to The Last Crusade! --walther_arms
- Given Nathan has now accidentally blown up El Dorado, Shambala and Iram of the Pillars (with increasingly less effort each time), I'm guessing in the next one he'll find Atlantis but then a mouse will sneeze and it'll sink. Evil Tim 06:39, 21 August 2012 (CDT)
- El Dorado didn't blow up, the helicopter wreckage dragged it (it was a giant golden coffin containing a virus of some kind, not a city) to the bottom of the ocean. - According to the Atlantis myth, Atlantis already sunk. That's what caused it to the become the "Lost City of Atlantis." It would be hard to sink something that is already underwater. --SmithandWesson36 13:36, 21 August 2012 (CDT)
