Preserved Code

Heavy Fire: Afghanistan is an on-rails shooter developed by Teyon and published by Mastiff. Was released as multi-platform release for PC, PS3, and Wii in 2011 and will be re-released on X360 in 2012. The game follows the story of a USMC soldier and his duties fighting insurgents in Afghanistan in 2011. The game offers several different weapons and vehicles to choose from, as well as grenades.

Pistols

Beretta M92F

The Beretta M92F is the standard handgun in the game and becomes your default weapon when you run out of primary weapon ammunition. It has a 15 round magazine and has an infinite stockpile of extra ammunition. The ROF of the weapon is as fast as the users trigger pull so at times the gun can appear to be automatic. Each time the weapon is reloaded the player has to pull the slide back to chamber a round, even if one has already been loaded.

Assault Rifles

M4A1

The M4A1 is the standard assault rifle you begin with in HF:A. It has a 30 round capacity and a slower rate of fire than in most games. Reloaded with a standard 30 round clip, there are no variations or mods that can be added to this weapon.

Heckler & Koch XM8

The XM8 is the second tier weapon you have the chance to upgrade to once you have completed 2 single player missions. When firing the weapon the noise seems to sound like there is a silencer threaded on the barrel but none is shown either in the in-game model or on the icon.

Fabrique Nationale FN F2000

The FN F2000 is the third tier weapon you can get in the game. Has a larger ammo capacity than the other two weapons and a higher ROF. The games' in game weapon icon shows it to have an underbarrell grenade launcher and setup similar to the Spinter Cell Videogame series with the SC20K.

Machine Guns

M60

The M60 has been seen in in-game screen shots as being one of the possible weapon upgrades for you.

Browning M2HB

The "Ma Deuce" appears in several levels as a fixed weapon emplacement the player will move to and utilize at certain pre-determined locations. As with most modern shooters, it comes with an infinite ammo supply with a high ROF. The gun is balanced by having it overheat when under constant use.
