While never used on screen Creasy buys an M-3 Greasegun from the gun dealer. It's seen in his bag.Of all of the firearms that Creasy buys, the M3A1 would have been by far the most effective of his small arms. It is ''perfectly'' suited for the tasks to come, and considering that most of the weapons that were available to Creasy for purchase from Rayburn's mexican gun-dealer were second hand and outdated weapons. Although there have been quantum leaps in submachine gun construction and design since the early 1940's(when the M3/M3A1 was designed), the large .45acp caliber round the M3/M3A1 fires and it's simple construction with stamped/pressed steel causes it to be very reliable, extremely simple to operate, unusually compact, has ferocious knockdown power, high controlability on full auto due to decreased rate of fire, simple to fix and maintain, cheap to manufacture and very easily suppressed and/or converted to 9X19mm. (all of this appealed to many in the early special forces and paratrooper communities). | While never used on screen Creasy buys an M-3 Greasegun from the gun dealer. It's seen in his bag.Of all of the firearms that Creasy buys, the M3A1 would have been by far the most effective of his small arms. The following guns were used in the movie Man on Fire
Glock 34
This is Creasy's sidearm in the beginning. It is the weapon with which he attempts suicide and later uses in the kidnapping scene.
Glock 17
Creasy later carries another Glock, this one a Model 17 in a Blade Tech holster.Used when he assaults the motorcade and kidnaps the police captian. This is the weapon he gives to Mr.Ramos to kill himself with.
Colt Commander 1911
Used to kill the first police officer, who claimed himself as part of the Mexico City Police Department criminal secret society named "La Hermandad", after being tortured. As with basically all of the weapons Creasy buys from Rayburn's contact, this is a very good choice of firearm for his situation. (Especially considering many of the weapons he had to choose from were outdated and second-hand, although very effective) The Colt Commander offers almost all of the advantages of the full size Colt 1911A1 pistol; reliability, accuracy, a wide variety of upgrades/aftermarket accessories, sturdy construction and it's long coveted knockdown power. The only differences are that the Commander is more compact than the standard Colt 1911A1, while retaining the same magazine capacity and sacrificing less than an inch of barrel(.75"). It was a good weapon for him to choose because: in an extremely densely populated area concealed carry is key, ammunition would be attainable, the gun (and ammunition) are very accurate and of course; it's famous short range stopping ability. With a man as well trained as Creasy; The stylish, compact Colt could have been an instrument of death. Too bad we didnt see it used more.
RPG-7
Used to blow up an SUV in the motorcade.
Sig P226
In the nightclub he carries this as his weapon.
Unknown Sawed-Off Shotgun
Used to blow off the hand of Daniel Rosa Sanchez. Also used in the nightclub.
M3 Greasegun
While never used on screen Creasy buys an M-3 Greasegun from the gun dealer. It's seen in his bag.Of all of the firearms that Creasy buys, the M3A1 would have been by far the most effective of his small arms. It is perfectly suited for the tasks to come, and considering that most of the weapons that were available to Creasy for purchase from Rayburn's mexican gun-dealer were second hand and outdated weapons.
