At the film's beginning, a Smith & Wesson Model 10 appears to be used in an assassination attempt on a US Senator at Seattle's Space Needle. Sheriff L.D. Wicker (Kenny Thordsen) also is seen pulling a Smith & Wesson Model 10 on Joseph Frady (Warren Beatty).
Smith & Wesson Model 36
After the Senator is assassinated at the film's beginning, a Smith & Wesson Model 36 is seen in the hands of a Parallax operative (Bill McKinney).
Remington Model 700
Joseph Frady (Warren Beatty) spots a Remington Model 700 rifle on a scaffolding after witnessing an assassination.
