Medal of Honor: Warfighter (previously known as Medal of Honor 2) is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Danger Close (EA LA) and will be published by Electronic Arts. It is the 13th installment of the Medal of Honor series, and a direct sequel to Medal of Honor (2010), which was set in 2002 during the first stages of the ongoing War in Afghanistan. The newest trailer of the game announced multiple special forces which include DEVGRU, GROM, SFOD-D, SAS, JTF2, OGA, FSK/HJK, S SOG, KSK, SASR, ROKN UDT, and Gruppa Alfa.
The following weapons are featured in the upcoming video game Medal of Honor: Warfighter:
Pistols
M-45 MEUSOC
A hostage gets executed with an M-45 MEUSOC in the Official Announce Trailer.
Glock variant
Glock pistol variant can be seen in official gameplay trailer. It could be assumed itmay be a Glock 17 as one is used by Rabbit in Medal of Honor (2010) and in the trailer it is fired semi-automatic.
Assault Rifles
Heckler & Koch HK416
HK416s can be seen being used by Tier One operators with vertical foregrips and TA01NSN model ACOG scopes and most interestingly Surfire 45 degree iron sights.
LaRue Tactical OBR 5.56
The LaRue Tactical OBR 5.56 is seen held by a Tier 1 operator in a promotional image released for the game. The weapon is fitted with a Magpul CTR stock with LaRue RISR and POD, LaRue Grip Adapter Panels, Magpul PMAG, Troy rear BUIS, and a Trijicon TA01NSN-RMR 4x32 ACOG scope. It is presently unknown if such a configuration will appear in the finished game or not.
AKM or Varient
In one of the scenes in the debut trailer a soldier is seen holding a type of AK. Although it cannot be seen clearly, only the magazine and part of the handguard are visible, as AKMs were used in Medal of Honor (2010) it can be assumed that they may appear in the sequel.
Machine Guns
FN M249E3 SAW
The FN M249E3 SAW appears in a pre-release screenshot posted on the Medal of Honor: Warfighter Facebook page. It is seen with an Eclan M145 MG optic with a killflash attached to the front.
Sniper Rifles
M40A3
A M40A3 can be seen in the trailer used by Tier 1 Operators.
McMillan TAC-300
A McMillan TAC-300 is seen at the end of a trailer not in any pameplay so it may not be present in the game.
Heavy Weaponry
Mk 19
An Mk 19 grenade launcher is seen mounted on a zodiac in the Official Announce Trailer.
