The following weapons were used in Season 4 of the original television series Hawaii Five-0:
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model 36
The main sidearm of the Five-O detectives is the Smith & Wesson Model 36. Those who carry the handgun include Steve McGarrett (Jack Lord), Danny "Danno" Williams (James MacArthur), Chin Ho Kelly (Kam Fong) and Kono Kalakaua (Zulu). Various other characters are seen using the firearm as well.
Beretta M1934
In "Didn't We Meet at a Murder?"(S4E22), three people, TV repairman Clem Brown (Morgan Upton), businessman Frank Wellman (Bill Edwards) and rich widow Bonnie Soames (Joanna Barnes), are blackmailed into killing a crime syndicate boss. They are each given a suppressed Beretta M1934 fitted with a clear plastic hood which traps the spent cartridges.
Colt Pocket Positive
Sirone (France Nuyen) threatens McGarrett with a Colt Pocket Positive but is unable to bring herself to use it in Season 4's premiere "Highest Castle, Deepest Grave" (S4E01).
Colt M1911A1
A suppressed M1911A1 is seen as a weapon used in an assassination attempt in "While You're at it, Bring in the Moon" (S4E19). A similar weapon is handled by McGarrett in the episode and Chin Ho (Kam Fong) mentions that the weapon is the "A1" model.
Rifles
M16 SP1
The M16 is prominently used by McGarrett and HPD officers in several episodes. McGarrett, Kono and HPD officers are armed with M16's in "And I Want Some Candy and a Gun That Shoots" (S4E06). An M16 fitted with suppressor and scope and mounted on a tripod is seen in "Bait Once, Bait Twice" (S4E15).
M1 Garand
US troops in Vietnam are seen using an M1 Garand to launch rifle grenades in "R&R&R" (S4E24).
Remington 700
The sniper Billy Shem (Michael Burns) is seen using a Remington 700 rifle while engaging the HPD in "And I Want Some Candy and a Gun That Shoots" (S4E06).
Sako 85 Hunter
Danny is seen using what appears to be a SAKO 85 Hunter rifle when taking out a sniper in "And I Want Some Candy and a Gun That Shoots" (S4E06).
Gun Store Rifles
When Billy is seen buying the rifle in "And I Want Some Candy and a Gun That Shoots" (S4E06), several rifles are seen displayed in the store.
Shotguns
Winchester Model 1897
In "For a Million, Why Not?" (S4E08), the Winchester Model 1897 is used by federal agents in Los Angeles.
Other
Type 99 Light Machine Gun
What appears to be a Type 99 Light Machine Gun is seen as a weapon used in an assassination attempt in "While You're at it, Bring in the Moon" (S4E19).
M1 Bazooka
An M1 Bazooka is used by a robbery crew to disable an armored car in "3,000 Crooked Miles to Honolulu" (S4E04).
