Listed as having the longest film title by the Guinness Book of World Records,but the English-language title in most of the world was simply  ''Blood Feud''. The story is set in the 30th years in a small Sicilian town. Mafian´s killer Vitto Acicatena ([[Turi Ferro]]) shot Angelo Paterno, the leader of the local fishermen's strike against the rising prices of their catch on a market. The widow Conchita ([[Sophia Loren]]), who after the murder of her husband miscarried, and intends to take revenge because the court of justice  closed the case  the offender is "unknown", is about to execute Vendetta herself.  Socialist and attorney Rosario Mario Spalone ([[Marcello Mastroianni]]) offers her help, because it is an idealist, in addition to the falls madly in love. But from America comes another suitor, Angelo's cousin, Nick Saint Miquelle ([[Giancarlo Giannini]]), which applies more illegal means to achieve justice. Widow joins with the two men to revenge won, but losing struggle match results with their own feelings in a love triangle.
