Prime Suspect was an American detective drama that starred Maria Bello as an NYPD detective whose rough edges clash with the homicide squad she has been recently transferred to. The series, which was a remake of the acclaimed BBC detective drama series that starred Helen Mirren, aired in the US for one season from 2011 to 2012 on NBC.
