Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (Biohazard: The Mercenaries 3D in Japan) is a survival horror video game developed exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. The characters, weapons, and most of the levels are from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5.
The following weapons appear in the video game Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D:
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
Chris's primary handgun is a Beretta 92FS. Holds 20-rounds in the standard magazine.
Beretta 92FS "Samurai Edge"
This modified Beretta 92FS Brigadier is wielded by Albert Wesker. The gun is from RE5, with all the features seen there such as the two-tone finish with standard and Inox parts, an extended rail mount, a skeleton hammer, an extended beavertail, and is equipped with a LAM-1000 under the barrel. It is more powerful than the standard 92FS, but holds only 9 rounds in the magazine.
Beretta 96FS "Samurai Edge"
This modified .40 S&W Beretta 96FS is Barry Burton's primary weapon. It has a longer barrel, compensator, and Brigadier slide. Like Wesker's Samurai Edge, it also has a 9-round capacity. (The real 96 series have 10, 11, or 12-round magazines.)
Colt Python
Barry Burton carries a custom Colt Python that he only uses in quick time events. This revolver is originally from Resident Evil (2002), but can also be seen in Resident Evil 5 (after obtaining the "Mercenaries Reunion" DLC).
Heckler & Koch P8
HUNK uses a H&K P8 pistol. Holds only 14 rounds instead of the correct 15.
Heckler & Koch VP70M
The H&K VP70M, a.k.a. "Matilda" is used by Claire Redfield. Has no stock, and holds only 15 rounds instead of the correct 18.
IMI Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle Mark XIX, or "Lightning Hawk" as the game refers to it is used by Wesker.
Mauser C96 Red 9
The Mauser C96 Red 9 is a hidden weapon, that can be used by any character once unlocked.
Smith & Wesson Model 500
The Smith & Wesson Model 500 is the Magnum-type weapon used by Barry Burton. Holds a correct 5 rounds, but comes with no spare ammo.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with red dot sight and dedicated forend weapon-light (both have aesthetic purposes only) is used by Rebecca Chambers. Holds 60 rounds in the standard magazine.
Shotguns
Benelli M3 Super 90
The Benelli M3 Super 90 is used by Jill Valentine. Holds only 5 shells at max.
Hydra Sawed-off Shotgun
The Hydra triple barrel sawed-off shotgun is used by Wesker.
Ithaca 37
The Ithaca 37 is used by Chris by default. Has a 6-shot magazine.
Assault Rifles
AK-74
The AK-74 assault rifle with standard 30-rounder magazines is used by HUNK.
SIG SG 556
The SIG SG 556 rifle is used by Jill Valentine. Comes with 45-round magazines (model is actually a 30-rounder) and holographic sight. Depicted to be fully automatic.
Sniper Rifles
Heckler & Koch PSG1
The Heckler & Koch PSG1 is used by Claire Redfield.
Sako 75
The Sako 75 is featured in-game as the rifle of choice of Chris Redfield.
SVD
The SVD is used by Barry Burton. It is a powerful semi-auto weapon, with a ridiculous 4-shot magazine. As in RE5, the scope reticle looks nothing like the PS0-1's reticle.
Launchers
Milkor MGL Mk 1L
The standard, un-modified Milkor MGL Mk 1L firing frag rounds is used by Rebecca Chambers. It Holds only 4 grenades instead of the correct 6. Claire Redfield's and HUNK's MGL is loaded with flash rounds, and holds correctly 6 grenades.
A fictional version with two barrels can also be unlocked.
RPG-7
Jack Krauser carries an RPG-7 and a spare rocket along with his compound bow.
