The following weapons were used in the film The Hunt for Red October:
M1911A1
The M1911A1 pistol appeaars several times towards the end of the film; first in the hands of Commander Bart Mancuso (Scott Glenn) and then being used by Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin) aboard the Red October.
Makarov PM
The Makarov PM pistol appears in the film being wielded by the Red October's cook who ambushes the protagonists while they're attempting to evade the Konovalov, his attack fatally wounding Cpt. 2nd Rank Vasily Borodin (Sam Neill) and also wounding Captain Marko Ramius (Sean Connery) when he and Ryan pursue him.
Remington 870
During the battle with the Konovalov, sailors aboard the American frigate can be seen holding Remington 870 shotguns while guarding the rescued crew of the Red October.
