Jagged Alliance: Back in Action is game based on the Jagged Alliance title, by bitComposer Games. The Game is "a turn-based strategy game and features an updated isometric 3D look and interface, highly detailed character models and a variety of new gameplay features".
NOTE: Some weapons have completely different world models and inventory icons. These are listed separately.
The following weapons can be seen in the game Jagged Alliance: Back in Action:
Handguns
AMT Automag III
The AMT Automag III is featured in the game, and has been re-chambered to fire 7.62x51mm rounds from a 5-round magazine.
Beretta 92F
The Beretta 92F appears with a desert-pattern frame and standard slide. Called "Baretta 92F" in the game.
(Fake) Beretta 93R
The "Baretta 93R" is in fact a 92FS (noted by the slide-mounted safety and the shape of the grip) fitted with a 93R-style trigger guard/foregrip and compensator. Feeds from standard 15-round mags. This is one of the few pistols can can be fired in bursts.
Colt Anaconda
Despite being called "Barracuda" (referring to the FN Barracuda), this revolver is actually a Colt Anaconda. Placement of the two screws above the trigger gives away that this is an Anaconda, and not a very similar looking Python. The only thing common with the Barracuda is the .357 Magnum ammo the gun uses (which is obviously not correct for the Anaconda).
FN Five-seveN
The FN Five-seveN appears as "Five-seveN" and features an FDE (Flat Dark Earth) frame.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 appears as "Klock 17" in the game and is available with 15-round magazines. The frame is clearly second generation, however the trigger is from the first gen model.
(Fake) Glock 18
The Glock 18 in the game is actually just a Glock 17 that features a tan frame and standard trigger guard. Can be fired in 3-round bursts. (Note: this is not a mistake, as every automatic gun is fired in bursts.)
Heckler & Koch Mark 23
The Heckler & Koch Mark 23 appears as "USP .45" in the game and features an inaccurate 7-round magazine. Well, at least the caliber is right...
IMI/Magnum Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle Mark XIX appears with a Picatinny railed barrel and under-barrel accessory rail. According to the game, it holds only 7 of .357 Magnum rounds. Lacks the fluted barrel found on the .44 Magnum and .357 Magnum variants.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
The Smith & Wesson Model 36 is known as "38 W&S" in the game and is the starting weapon of several mercs the player can recruit to his team. Fitted with custom grips and has the cylinder release latch on the wrong side.
Walther P99
The Walther P99 is seen on loading screens and the main menu background.
Submachine Guns
FN P90TR
The FN P90TR appears simply as "P90" in the game.
Heckler & Koch MP5SD3
The H&K MP5SD3 is known as "MP5SD" in the game. The inventory description states that it has a "fixed stock of A4 version", whatever that means.
Heckler & Koch MP5KA4
The H&K MP5KA4 appears simply as "MP5K". It is modeled with a 15-round magazine, but holds 30 bullets. It is worth noting that the world-model of the gun has an extended barrel, like the MP5KN or MP5K-PDW.
Heckler & Koch UMP45
Icon of the Heckler & Koch UMP was seen on pre-release images, but this gun was cut from the final game. It was the .45 ACP variant, judging by the straight magazine and the fact that .40 S&W rounds are not present in the game.
Intratec TEC-9
The TEC-9 is another usable submachine gun in the game. (The rings to hold the sling on the side of the gun indicate the this is a TEC-9, and not the very similar TEC-DC9.)
MAC-10
The .45 ACP version of the MAC-10 submachine gun retains its name in the game. The "MP2" mentioned in the gun's description was the designation of the Uzi in the German Bundeswehr.
Norinco Type 85
The Norinco Type 85 is shown firing 7.62x39mm rounds instead of the correct 7.62x25mm.
Thompson M1A1
The Thompson M1A1 is known as "Johnson M1A1" and holds 30 rounds of .45 ACP.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS-15
The Franchi SPAS-15 appears in the game using its real-life name.
FN SLP Tactical
The FN SLP Tactical appears as "NF Shotgun" in the game and holds 6 shells at max. Its world model is clearly an FN TPS though (see below).
FN TPS
World model of the FN SLP Tactical shotgun is a FN Tactical Police Shotgun, noted by its AR-15-pattern collapsing stock, distinguishing front sight, and forend.
Heckler & Koch CAWS
The Heckler & Koch CAWS is known as "CAWS" in the game. Fires standard 12 Gauge shells from a 10-shot box magazine.
Remington 870
The Remington 870 appears as "M870" in the game and features a 7-shot tubular magazine.
Rifles & Assault Rifles
AK-47
Two versions of the Type III AK-47 are present in the game: A standard version (known as "AK 47"), and a version featuring a synthetic handguard, custom pistol grip and side-folding stock (known as "AKM"). The standard version fires 5.45x39mm rounds instead of the correct 7.62x39mm.
AKMS
World-model of the "AKSU-74" is an AKMS with a shorter barrel and AKS-74-style side-folding skeletal stock.
AKS-74U
The AKS-74U appears as "AKSU-74" in the game.
Colt M4 Commando
The Colt M4 Commando (Model 933) appears incorrectly as the "M4 Carbine" in the game. The gun is shown with an LE stock, but without any kind of rear sight. The bayonet lug is absent also.
Two more M4 Commandos can be obtained by purchasing DLC's on Steam. These rifles are shown with carrying handles, and 20-round magazines. Their performance is almost identical to the standard M933.
Colt "M16"
The actual variant of the "M16" in the game is a mystery. It is impossible to tell the exact variant from the inventory image, as it is showing the right side of the gun, and the important parts (like the brass deflector or forward assist) cannot be seen. One thing is sure though; the inventory icon of the rifle is clearly NOT the M16A4 - despite what the text says. (Judging by the simple rear sight, it is either the original M16; SP1; or M16A1 with A2 handguards.)
The world-model of the gun on the other hand IS the A4 variant: When a scope attachment is mounted on the rifle, it replaces the carrying handle.
Enfield L85A1
The L85A1 is another usable assault rifle. Rarely seen in enemy hands.
FAMAS G1
The FAMAS G1 appears as "SAM-AF" in the game. Holds 30 rounds instead of the correct 25. The sight attachments replace the carrying handle, blocking the bolt handle.
FN FAL
The FN FAL appears as "NF-FAL" and is shown with a partial desert finish and 30-rounder mag (that holds only 20 bullets). The gun's inventory image is a C2A1 LMG, however.
FN SCAR-L
The SCAR-L with a standard barrel and most-known tan finish appears in the game as the "SCAR-H", plus fires 7.62x51mm rounds. Two other SCAR-L rifles can be obtained by purchasing DLC's for the game - those use the correct 5.56x45mm ammo. All three variants are called "SCAR CQB", even though they have standard barrels.
Heckler & Koch G3A4
The Heckler & Koch G3A4 appears incorrectly as "G3A3" in the game. It is shown with a 30-rounder magazine, but holds only 20 bullets.
Heckler & Koch G36C
A G36C being fired is seen on a loading screen. It also appears on the cover of the game.
Heckler & Koch HK33A2
The Heckler & Koch HK33A2 appears incorrectly as "G41" in the game. The real G41 has a unique magazine well to accept STANAG magazines. Shown with a bipod handguard, and with 40-round magazine, but holds only 30 bullets.
Heckler & Koch HK53A2
The HK53A2 appears as "MP53" in the game and is shown with an MP5-style flash hider. Classifies as an SMG.
IMI CTAR-21
The CTAR-21 appears as "TAR 21" in the game.
Mk 14 Mod 0 Enhanced Battle Rifle
The Mk 14 Mod 0 Enhanced Battle Rifle is known as "M-14". Has moderate range and durability. The world-model features a forward grip that is not present on the inventory image. Classified as a sniper rifle.
Ruger Mini-14
Known as "Mini-14" in the game, the new model Ruger Mini-14 is a fine semi-auto rifle, which manages to hold 30 rounds in a 20-round magazine.
SIG SG 552
The SG 552 Commando appears as "GIS Commando". Features a rail system on top and is equipped with a 30-round magazine.
SKS
The SKS is a powerful semi-auto rifle with a 10-round capacity. An unusable grenade launcher is attached to the barrel, and the ladder sight is turned up. Also features a bayonet. One of the few rifles that have no burst attack option.
Steyr AUG A2
The Steyr AUG A2 appears as "Steyr" in the game.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB was used in the intro to execute some civilians.
C2A1
Inventory image of the "NF-FAL" is actually a Canadian C2A1 light machine gun. It can be identified by the distinctive receiver, shape of the front sight and carrying handle. Has a partial desert-pattern finish. Again, the 30-rounder mag holds only 20 bullets.
FN Minimi Para
Paratrooper version of the FN Minimi appears with a heat-shield, and 200-round ammo can that holds only 80 bullets.
Heckler & Koch HK21
The Heckler & Koch HK21 appears as "K&H 21". It is modeled with a drum mag that holds only 40 rounds.
RPK
World-model of the RPK-74 is a 7.62mm RPK machine gun.
RPK-74
The RPK-74 is a decent machine gun firing the 5.45x39mm ammo from 45-rounder box magazines.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M107
World-model of the "G82" is a Barrett M107 rifle.
Barrett M107CQ
The short-barreled Barrett M107CQ appears as "G82" in the game and holds 11 rounds in the magazine. The inventory text talks about the Barrett M82A2 for some reason.
Heckler & Koch PSG1
The Heckler & Koch PSG1 is shown with a 5-rounder magazine that holds 10 bullets.
Remington M24 Sniper Weapon System
The M24 Sniper Weapon System appears as "M24 SWS" and has a desert camouflage finish and unusable bipod.
(Fake) SVD
The SVD appears as "Druganoff" in the game. It was not modeled after a real Dragunov, but an airsoft AK-47 fitted with a so called "Dragunov Conversion Kit", which consists of an SVD buttstock, handguard, and flash hider. The AK-type magazine could be the reason why the rifle fires 7.62x39mm rounds.
VSS Vintorez
The VSS Vintorez appears in the game with a polymer buttstock. Fires 9mm Parabellum rounds instead of the correct 9x39mm. Since this is the only fully automatic sniper rifle in the game, it can be fired in 2-round bursts.
Launchers
M72 LAW
The M72 LAW fires 66mm rockets, and is rarely seen in enemy hands. As in the majority of video games, it is depicted to be reloadable.
M79 "Thumper"
The M79 grenade launcher appears as "M79".
Norinco QLB-06
The QLB-06 is undoubtedly the most powerful weapon in the game. Two variants are present: "Rocket Rifle" and "Automatic Rocket Rifle". Both versions fire 66mm M72 LAW rockets instead of 35mm grenades. On the inventory image, it looks like the launcher is fitted with an AR-15-type carrying handle.
Grenades & Landmines
M18 Smoke
The M18 smoke grenade is usable in the game.
M84 Stun
The M84 stun grenade appears as "Stun Grenade" in the game.
Mk 2 Frag
The Mk 2 hand grenade is the standard fragmentation grenade in the game.
Gas Grenade
PMA-2
The Yugoslavian PMA-2 mine can be used to set up ambushes. It is also frequently placed around enemy compounds. A successfully disarmed PMA-2 can be used by the player's mercenaries, or sold for extra cash.
