CSI: Crime Scene Investigation has been running on CBS since 2000. Characters include, Captain Brass (Paul Guilfoyle), Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox), Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), Nick Stokes (George Eads), and D.B. Russell (Ted Danson).
The following weapons appear in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation:
Pistols
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is the most common handgun featured in the series. Dr. Gil Grissom (William Petersen) carried one in Seasons 1-2 as well in Season 4's premiere, but after that was never seen wielding one again. Detective Vartann (Alex Carter) is also frequently seen carrying a Glock 17 as well as most of the junior detectives and officers. A man uses a full-sized Glock, believed to be a 17, to defend his store and mother in the episode "Better Off Dead". Dr. Ray Langston (Laurence Fishburne) used a Glock 17 in Season 11's "Cello and Goodbye".
Glock 19
The smaller Glock 19 also appears several times in the series. In one episode, two Glock 19s are found on two dead police officers in a hotel room. Captain Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) also carries this Glock as his sidearm in "Ellie". In Season 11's "Targets of Obsession" (S11E15), Jason McCann (Justin Bieber) is seen pulling a Glock 19 when confronting the LVPD.
Glock 26
In addition to the full-size Glock 17's, Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox), Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) being one of the only CSIs to shoot and kill a suspect with their duty issue, and Sophia Curtis (Louise Lombard) each carried a Glock 26. CSI Morgan Brody (Elisabeth Harnois) carries a Glock 26 as her weapon. While Sara Sidle carried one from season 1-8, Catherine only used one from season 1 through season 3 where she then switched to a SIG P232. Detective Curtis carried one from season 6-8. The new CSI Riley Adams (Lauren Lee Smith) is also featured carrying a Glock 26. Gil Grissom carries one in Season 4, episode 6 entitled "Jackpot".
Smith & Wesson SW99
Nick Stokes (George Eads) uses a Smith & Wesson SW99 with a nickel-plated slide. Its most prominent showing is in the Season 5 finale "Grave Danger" when the gun is tossed in with Nick before he is buried alive in a Plexiglass coffin. Midway through the episode, having discovered that his built-in air supply is threatened by a light inside the coffin (which comes on whenever his colleagues activate a website and webcam that allows them to view his plight), Nick stuffs his ears with gum and then shoots out the light, giving Warrick Brown (Gary Dourdan) a scare (He later regrets it when fire ants invade the coffin). Nick frequently seen with his gun drawn is the final episodes of season 8 and 9 when apprehending the rogue Undersheriff Jeff McKeen (Conor O'Farrell). In the Season 10 finale Nick uses his SW99 to shoot Dr. Jekyll 6 times killing him instantly after Dr. Jekyll shoots him in the chest and shoulder with a shotgun. And also in the season 11 premiere Nick shoots a suspect emptying his mag into the suspect and tries to reload and continue firing but due to PTSD from not backing up a Police Officer getting him killed (in season 10 finale). Catherine calms him down and makes him realize he was in shock. In Season 11's "Targets of Obsession", He is seen holding it on Jason McCann (Justin Bieber), before McCann pulls a Glock 19, where Stokes promptly unloads a magazine into McCann's chest, killing him.
H&K USP Compact
Starting in Season 12 Nick Stokes (George Eads) starts to carry a H&K USP Compact with a stainless slide, replacing his Smith & Wesson SW99 that he had previously carried in the past 7 seasons.
Smith & Wesson 669
A Smith & Wesson 669 is found in a computer tower in Season 1's "I-15 Murders".
Smith & Wesson 5906
Warrick Brown and Nick Stokes carried a Smith & Wesson 5906 with adjustable sights through seasons 1-4. In season 5 Nick changes to his SW99 and Warrick Brown Changes to a Smith & Wesson 5906 with Novak sites. In the Season 8 episode "For Gedda" Warrick is once again seen using a Smith & Wesson 5906 with adjustable sites when being framed for killing a mob boss.
SIG-Sauer P232
Sofia Curtis and Catherine Willows are seen carrying SIG-Sauer P232s through season 4-8. While Sofia is only seen carrying one of these during the shootout in "A Bullet Runs Thorough It part 1" Catherine is seen wielding it in every season since season 4.
SIG-Sauer P228
Capt. Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) carries a SIG-Sauer P228 as his sidearm from season 3-9. CSI Greg Sanders (Eric Szmanda) is seen wielding one since "Targets of Obsession."
SIG-Sauer P226
Mike Keppler (Liev Schreiber) carries a SIG-Sauer P226 pistol as his sidearm throughout his time on the show. In the Season 8 episode, "Drops Out", Walter Jaynes (Grant Sullivan) uses a two-tone P226 to commit two murders and hold Drops and his pregnant girlfriend hostage along with a Beretta 92FS Inox.
Heckler & Koch USP
Capt. Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) carries a Heckler & Koch USP as his sidearm in season 1 & 2, before switching to the SIG-Sauer P228 mentioned above. A USP was also identified as a murder weapon in another episode due to the effects of the USP's rifling on the bullet.
Kimber Custom TLE II
Raymond "Ray" Langston (Laurence Fishburne) carries a Kimber Custom TLE II after joining the CSI team as CSI Level 1.
Beretta 92FS Inox
A Beretta 92FS Inox appears in one episode, clearly seen and even identified as such. Owned by a congressman, used by his wife to commit murder, and an aide picked it up and committed suicide in the courthouse. A Beretta Inox also appears used as a murder weapon in the episode "Drops' Out", being held on the title character and his pregnant girlfriend during a hostage situation by Walter Jaynes (Grant Sullivan).
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is another common weapon seen used in the series, by both cops and criminals. In one episode, a man wakes up to a break-in of his home, producing a two-tone Beretta 92FS when he goes to investigate. He discovers his kitchen being ransacked by a group of people who flee upon being confronted by the armed homeowner. In Season 11's "Targets of Obsession", Jason McCann (Justin Bieber) pulls a Beretta (albeit, with a terrible grip) on his driver.
Desert Eagle
In one episode, a man can be seen firing a Desert Eagle out the window of a truck at a man in a limousine. Gil Grissom identifies the casing as being from a .50 caliber and says that he would be "willing to bet it's from a Desert Eagle". Another Desert Eagle is seen used to kill its owner by an angry neighbor.
Luger P08
In the episode "Snakes", an elderly WW2 veteran named Stuart Manslow (George Murdock) uses a Luger P08 pistol brought back with him from the war to kill a telemarketer named Vincent Decarlo (Chad Donella), having become disgusted with his "parasitic" habit of taking advantage of his fellow nursing home residents. He later surrenders the weapon to Warrick Brown after explaining what he'd done. One is seen on display with custom grips in episode "Better Off Dead."
Ruger KP89
When investigating the murder of the telemarketer mentioned above, Brass and Warrick question Dax Blanchard (Reid Scott), one of his co-workers. During the conversation, the telemarketer is discovered to be carrying a concealed Ruger KP89, which he claims to have a permit for.
Walther PPK
The Walther PPK makes a few appearances in a few episodes. Hank Connor used one to kill Chyna DeVere (Dawn Drake) in the episode "Leapin' Lizards" from Series 7. In the Series 6 episode, "Killer", Karl Cooper (William Sadler) uses one with a suppressor to murder Clayton Nash for testifying against him.
Makarov PM
In the Series 5 episode "Hollywood Brass", the character Ronnie (Michael K. Williams) appears with a Makarov PM, sporting a stainless steel finish and with tape around the grip.
Beretta 21 Bobcat
In the episode "Homebodies", a young boy discovers a Beretta 21 Bobcat hidden in a flowerbed in his backyard, and accidentally shoots himself in the foot with the weapon. It is later discovered that local bounty hunter Frank Maddox (M.C. Gainey) had used it to commit suicide after his business failed, using balloons to transport the pistol away from the scene to make it appear he was murdered, the balloons depositing the weapon in the flowerbed. Another Bobcat appears in the episode "Weeping Willows", found in a car during an investigation, this one having wooden grips. This weapon was appeared once again on the episode "For Warrick" and was the weapon that killed CSI Warrick Brown in the season opener of season 9.
Jericho 941
In the recent episode "Better Off Dead" a shootout takes place in a well-stocked gun store. Weapons seen on the shelves include a stainless Jericho 941 of unknown caliber.
Astra Terminator
Identified as a .44 Magnum, a .44 Astra Terminator is used to kill a high school bully in "Bully for You".
AMT Hardballer Longslide
A flashback of Keppler's past shows him executing a kid in Trenton, New Jersey with a .45 AMT Hardballer Longslide pistol, which he later found in a plastic bag with the victim's blood & his prints on it in "Law of Gravity".
M1911A1
Corrupt ex-cop Frank McCarthy uses a M1911A1 pistol to kill his old partner & Keppler before Keppler kills him with his SIG-Sauer P226 pistol in "Law of Gravity".
Revolvers
Smith & Wesson Model 629
A Smith & Wesson Model 629 is test fired by Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) in the Season 1 episode "Sex, Lies and Larvae". A noticeable error in the episode is that the coroner identifies the bullet wound being from a .38, whereas the 629 is only chambered in .44 Magnum.
Colt 1860 Army
In one episode, the team investigates a murder at a recreation of a western frontier town, where a man is killed in a classic western-style duel using Colt 1860 Army revolvers. The revolvers also had the barrels lined with oatmeal so they looked more realistic firing blank shot. Several are seen on display in episode "Better Off Dead."
NAA Mini revolver
In the episode "No Humans Involved", an NAA Mini Revolver was carried by Miguel Garabei (Chris Villa) in a belt holster and used to wound another. One was identified in the Season 9 episode "All In", as a "Vanderville Arms Concealable .22 LR" which does not exist.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Various .38 Smith & Wesson Model 36 revolvers are seen in the hands of various characters throughout the series.
Smith & Wesson Model 686
A .357 Smith & Wesson Model 686 revolver with a 6" barrel is seen in the hands of a female store clerk in the start of the series.
Submachine Guns
FN P90
In "Zippered" (S12E09), a batch of FN P90s is stolen from the Middle East and snuck into the US. The CSIs erroneously state the the 5.7x28mm rounds used by the weapon are illegal in the United States. The gun is also continually referred to as a "Supergun", capable of cutting a man in half (Referred to by an FBI agent in the show as "Zippering", as if it's something they see every day). Another peculiarity is that even the ballistics expert at CSI has never even heard of the caliber before.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
In the episode "Poppin' Tags", gang members use a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 stolen from Las Vegas P.D. SWAT to conduct a drive-by shooting. The weapon is later disassembled and destroyed in an attempt to get rid of the evidence.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
In the bank robbery in "Inside the Box" (Season 3, Episode 23) a bank robber has an Heckler & Koch MP5K with a sling during a daring daytime heist.
MAC-10
There are several appearances of MAC-10s in the series, frequently seen used by criminals and gang members.
Rifles
Olympic Arms OA-93
Two of the bank robbers from the episode "Inside the Box" (Season 3, Episode 23) are armed with short AR-15 Pistols. The upper receivers seem to be the Olympic Arms OA-93, but the lower receivers have a short buffer tube, which is not necessary on the OA-93 design since the top receiver and foregrip include the innovative spring system that doesn't require a buffer tube and spring to operate the bolt carrier. Since the guns never fire in the episode, one can assume that a prop armorer assembled these pistols up from different guns. They are also seen fitted with telescoping stocks as used on M16 rifle series-type carbines.
M4A1 Carbine
In several episodes, Las Vegas P.D. SWAT officers can be seen using M4A1 carbines, often fitted with accessories such as M68 Aimpoint red dot scopes and Surefire M500AB weaponlights.
AK-47
Seen in several episodes, especially in the episode "Leapin' Lizards" when in the opening scene, Hank Connor used an AK in the shootout with the LVPD.
Norinco Type 56S
One can be found lying against the wall in Hank Connor's house in the episode "Leapin' Lizards",
Steyr AUG A3
In the episode "Leapin' Lizards", a paranoid conspiracy nut named Hank Connor (Carl Ciarfalio) engages Las Vegas P.D. SWAT in a shootout while holed up in his home, committing suicide when SWAT manages to gain entry. Among the weapons stockpiled in his home is a Steyr AUG A3 rifle.
Colt Model 933
In the episode "The Lost Girls", an LVPD officer uses a Colt Model 933 with a forelight when making a raid on a pimp's house.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
A 12 Gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun is seen used in the grocery store robbery in "Paper & Plastic".
Other
X26 Taser
In one episode, an LVPD patrolman uses an X26 Taser to subdue a violent suspect after mace proves ineffective. When the suspect is shot with the Taser however, he bursts into flames and burns to death. Later on, Nick Stokes (George Eads) can be seen firing the Taser in the crime lab while trying to recreate the conditions of the incident, the investigation revealing that the mace used prior to the taser shot was a civilian brand that was not approved for LVPD use due to it being potentially flammable. This incident was later tested in an episode of Mythbusters, the hosts also having had a cameo appearance as lab technicians looking on as Nick Stokes was test-firing the Taser.
