Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is the fourth installment in the Mission Impossible film series. Tom Cruise returns as IMF Agent Ethan Hunt, who discovers that the entire Impossible Mission Force has been disavowed due to a terrorist attack in Moscow. The film co-stars Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, and Josh Holloway.
The following firearms can be seen in the film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol:
Armed men fire Beretta 92FS pistols while chasing IMF Agent Trevor Hanaway (Josh Holloway) in Budapest .
Glock 17
Trevor Hanaway (Josh Holloway) and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) are both seen with the Glock 17. In a continuity error Brandt (Jeremy Renner) is seen carrying one in a scene in the Burj Hotel, when before and after this scene he carries the SIG-Sauer P226R.
Makarov PM
Russian guards at the Kremlin are armed with Makarov PM pistols. Assassin Sabine Moreau (Léa Seydoux) uses a suppressed Makarov in Budapest, as does Agent Jane Carter. Moreau also attempts to shot Carter with a Makarov in Dubai before being disarmed. Benji Dunn briefly uses the Makarov when he watches Moreau.
Ethan shoots Bogdan (Miraj Grbic) with a Glock pistol modified to fire tranquilizer darts before transferring him to an IMF extraction team. The pistol is likely the same type as the one featured in Mission: Impossible III.
SIG-Sauer P226 E2
The SIG-Sauer P226 E2 is seen in the hands of Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and William Brandt (Jeremy Renner). It appears to be the standard IMF sidearm. In several scenes, the white "E2" is visible on the right side of the slide, confirming the pistols' identity.
SIG-Sauer P226 SCT
Jane Carter (Paula Patton) uses a SIG-Sauer P226 SCT as her sidearm throughout the movie. It is distinguished from the P226 E2s used in the movie by the extended magazine well, longer front sight, and forward cocking serrations.
SIG-Sauer P229
Ethan notices a SIG-Sauer P229 in Brandt's holster when he first meets him aboard the IMF secretary's (Tom Wilkinson in an uncredited role) SUV. Later, a P229 is seen among the weapons in the team's arsenal.
Stechkin APS
A Russian operative fires a Stechkin APS when the IMF secretary's SUV is ambushed.
Beretta Cougar
Brandt disarms one of Sabine Moreau's bodyguards by removing the slide from his Beretta Cougar.
One of the men that Agent Hannaway shoots in the introduction is armed with a Brügger & Thomet MP-9 submachine gun.
Rifles
SKS
Russian honor guards at the Kremlin carry SKS rifles.
AKS-74U
Guards at the Kremlin are armed with AKS-74U carbines. Later, Agent Sidorov and his men use RIS-equipped AKS-74Us with various attachments, including suppressors and a GP-25 grenade launcher.
Custom AKM
Customized AKMs are used by Russian operatives in Moscow when they ambush the IMF secretary, Ethan and Brandt. The rifles have KCI quad rail systems and modernized furniture.
Custom AKMSU
Several Russian operatives fire AKMSU carbines with KCI quad rail systems during the ambush.
A SIG SG 552 fitted with a scope rail is carried by Agent Jane Carter (Paula Patton) when (Tom Cruise) and Brandt (Jeremy Renner) entered the rendezvous train near Moscow. Another SG552 can be seen in the train's armory.
