The Haenel-Schmeisser MP28/II was designed by Hugo Schmeisser in 1924 and was secretly tested at Kummersdorf by Inspektion fur Waffen und Gerat in 1925. The MP28/II Submachine Gun is nothing more than an improved version of the [[Bergmann MP18]] Submachine Gun. It incorporated the simple box magazine the Schmeisser preferred and a semi-auto and full auto fire control selector.
