Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following firearms were used in AMC's Hell On Wheels:
Griswold & Gunnison
Former Confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) carries a Confederate-made Griswold & Gunnison revolver, by which he is recognised in Episode 1. The correct Griswold & Gunnison is visible for a split second at 34:20 in Episode 3, "A New Birth of Freedom."
Bohannon does not use an accurate copy of the Griswold revolver in the series. Instead he uses a brass-framed copy of the 1860 Colt Army revolver, a weapon which did not exist until the Italians started making them during the 1960s. The rebated cylinder and 1860-type loading lever can be seen in several episodes, especially the one where he lends it to the ex-slave and teaches him to shoot.
Colt 1860 Army
During the opening credits sequence, Bohannon is seen with a Colt 1860 Army instead of his usual Griswold & Gunnison. He uses this period-incorrect brass-framed copy of the Colt 1860 Army throughout the series.
Remington 1858 New Model Army
Former Union soldier Daniel Johnson (Ted Levine) carries a Remington 1858 New Army in Episode 1, although the weapon appearing on screen is a brass-framed Leech & Rigdon .44.
