The Makarov PM pistol is the main sidearm for the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) faction.

M3 "Grease Gun"
The M3 "Grease Gun" is used by the US Army & Marine Corp (USMC) factions Crewman classes.
PPSh-41
The PPSh-41 appears in the game being used by the NVA faction with its' standard drum magazine, and is one of the older weapons seen in the game so far.

M16A1 Rifle
The M16A1 rifle appears in the game as the main weapon of the US Army & US Marine Corps (USMC) factions, loaded with both 20 and 30-round magazines depending on the class.

In order to use the weapon, a forward observer must call in a fire mission and the co-ordinates entered into the sight. The M252 is used by both the US and NVA factions. Note that it is anachronistic; the actually M252 entered service in 1986.

M18 Recoilless Rifle
The NVA faction Heavy Antitank classes use the M18 Recoilless Rifle under the designation of Type 36. This is historically accurate, as the Chinese Communists captured blueprints of the M18 given to the Republicans by the US after the Communist victory in the Civil War.
