The Liberation of Prague is Czechoslovak war film from the period of the Prague uprising directed by Otakar Vávra. The film has no central hero and as a continuation to the previous of Vávra´s movie titled Sokolovo, stand out in it also the characters from the film - Anka Kadlecová (Renáta Doleželová) and Karel Horák (Jirí Krampol). The film was made for the propaganda of a 30th anniversary of the liberation by the Red Army. In a cinema, however, came with a delay. Therefore, the German actor who played the commander of the SS troops in Bohemia and Moravia Horst Preusker died before its premiere.

Model 24 Stielhandgranate
The resistance also also use the Model 24 Stielhandgranate.
Panzerfaust
The insurgents uses the Panzerfaust as their defense against German armoured vehicles. They are shown firing them from the shoulder bazooka-style, rather than the official under-the-arm method.
