Code of Silence is a 1985 action film that starred Chuck Norris as a Chicago PD detective who finds himself in the middle of a drug war in the city. The film was the feature film directing debut of Andrew Davis (Under Siege) and the cast included several former Chicago police officers including Dennis Farina.
The following weapons were used in the film Code of Silence:
Revolvers
Dan Wesson Model 15
The Dan Wesson Model 15 is the main sidearm carried by Chicago Det. Eddie Cusack (Chuck Norris).
Dan Wesson Model 715
During the warehouse shootout, Cusack (Chuck Norris) uses a different revolver: a 6”barrel stainless steel Dan Wesson Model 715.
Colt Detective Special
The Colt Detective Special is the sidearm of several CPD officers in the film. When two thugs attempt to rob a cop bar, several off-duty officers pull their Colt DS revolvers.
Colt Python
A 4” barrel Colt Python is used in several scenes.
Astra 357
When the thugs try to rob the bar, Det. Dorato (Dennis Farina) is seen pulling a 3” barrel revolver with adjustable sights. Because of the shape of the hammer, it is possible that this an Astra 357, although it is never seen well.
RG-22 revolver
One of the hitmen carries an RG-22 revolver during the opening drug den shootout.
Smith & Wesson Model 10 (Nickel Snub Nose)
Cusack’s partner carries a 2” barrel, nickel plated S&W Model 10 (or a stainless model 64).
Smith & Wesson Model 10 (4” barrel)
A 4" barrel Smith & Wesson Model 10 is seen as well.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
A 4” barrel Smith & Wesson Model 15 is used in the bar robbery scene. Tony Luna (Mike Genovese) carries a 2” barrel S&W Model 15.
Smith & Wesson Model 19
Victor Comacho (Ron Henriquez) is seen using a 2.5” barrel Smith & Wesson Model 19. Another S&W is seen in the hands of Luis Comacho (Henry Silva).
Smith & Wesson Model 29
Lt. Kobas (Joseph Kosala) carries an 8” barrel Smith & Wesson Model 29 with a nickel finish as his sidearm.
Several Revolvers
Several revolvers both in the bar robbery scenes and before the final warehouse shootout.
Pistols
Beretta Jetfire
Det. Cragie (Ralph Foody) carries a Beretta Jetfire in an ankle holster. He puts it in the hand of an unarmed kid that he shot by mistake. At the end of the movie, we see that he has replaced this one with a identical pistol.
M1911A1
When the thugs attempt to rob the bar, one of the off-duty police officers pulls what appears to be a nickel-plated M1911A1 pistol.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500AT (Pistol Grip)
A Mossberg 500AT shotgun fitted with a pistol grip and wood furniture is used by both Det. Dorato (Dennis Farina) and Det. Eddie Cusack (Chuck Norris). Cusack's Mossberg is used in the final warehouse shootout and is also fitted with a heavy choke. As the movie was filmed in Chicago around the same time, the firearm is likely the same shotgun used in the 1986 Schwarzenegger film Raw Deal.
double-barreled shotgun
Several 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotguns is used throughout the film. One of the robbers in the bank scene carries a double-barreled shotgun.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch HK94
One of Comacho's guards is seen on the rooftop armed with a Heckler & Koch HK94. Because the movie was filmed in Chicago around the same time, this is likely the same firearm seen in the 1986 Schwarzenegger film Raw Deal.
MAC-10
MAC-10's suppressed and unsuppressed are prominently used by the hitmen disguised as painters who take out several drug dealers in the opening shootout.
Uzi
An Uzi is used by a hitman disguised as a painter in the opening shootout.

One of Luis' men is seen opening fire with a Remington 700 during the final warehouse shootout.
Other
