The Familiar of Zero (Zero no Tsukaima)

The Familiar of Zero (ゼロの使い魔 Zero no Tsukaima) is a fantasy and comedy-oriented series of Japanese light novels written by Noboru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka. It has been adapted as an anime series by J.C. Staff. The story features characters in a world of magic and fantasy, with the entrance of a male character, Saito Higara, who's from Earth. Saito soon discovers that some of the items he finds in this new world (majority including weaponry) are from Earth, and seeks to find the vortex that leads back into his world, Earth.

The following weapons were used in the anime The Familiar of Zero:

M72 LAW

M72 LAW is the first weaponry shown in the anime that has come from the Earth. The people of the magical world calls it the "Stick of Destruction", and is shown to treat it as a sacred treasure; sealed in a case and put into a safe. Osmond, the head of the magical Tristain Academy, describes how he had found it on a man in a weird uniform, severely injured in the forest, and seen him use it to save Osmond from getting eaten by a dragon. The operation of the M72 LAW is very well shown in the anime, as well as the fact that it is one-use-only.

Longueville realizes that the launcher won't fire, being a one-use-only. Also note where her finger is. If it did fire, it could have blasted, or burned, her left index finger off.

SIG-Sauer P225

SIG-Sauer P225 is first seen wrapped in clothes being handed to Saito by Julio Chesaré. It is later revealed when Saito uses it to shoot Sheffield. It is discarded during Saito's battle with Joseph. It can be seen that the pistol is a SIG-Sauer P225 and not P6 or any other P220 series by looking at the trigger guard, which is perpendicular to the slide, and the grip, which is quite different from other P220 series.

A very well shown scene of the P225. Notice how the trigger guard is perpendicular to the slide, and the unique looking grip with the cut-out for the decocker

88mm Flak 18/36/37

88mm Flak 18/36/37 is seen when Saito and his friends are fighting Sheffield and her Square-class golem. It is unsure if it is Flak 18, 36, or 37. Professor Colbert calls it the "Great Spear".
