The following firearms can be seen in the film Safe House:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P229
CIA agent Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) carries a SIG-Sauer P229 as his sidearm.
SIG-Sauer P226
Vargas (Fares Fares), an assassin and a real-life friend of director Daniel Espinosa, uses a SIG-Sauer P226 throughout the film with and without a suppressor. Several of his men also use P226s while hunting down Weston and rogue CIA agent Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington).
Tokarev TT-33
An assassin briefly is seen wielding a Tokarev TT-33 before Frost disarms and kills him.
Steyr M9A1
Frost can be seen chambering a Steyr M9A1, which he fires in a crowded restaurant to create a diversion.
Vektor Z88
South African Police Service (SAPS) officers use Vektor Z88 handguns during a shootout at Green Point Stadium. Frost also fires one next to Weston's head after a fight, and later seizes another Z88 from a hitman.
Glock 17
A Glock 17 is used by Agent Miller (Jake McLaughlin) when the safe house is compromised. David Barlow (Brendan Gleeson) also uses a Glock in a later scene.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
Rogue agent Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington) can briefly be seen with a stainless Heckler & Koch USP Compact.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch UMP9
Several of Vargas' hitmen are armed with Heckler & Koch UMP9 submachine guns.
IMI Uzi
A hitman uses a suppressed IMI Uzi during a car chase.
Rifles
Olympic Arms K23B
Vargas uses a short-barreled AR-15 derivative, similar to a Olympic Arms K23B during several attempts to kill Frost. The rifle is initially equipped with a telescopic sight and suppressor, but is mostly seen with an EOTech holosight.
Colt M4A1 Carbine
Members of the CIA extraction team led by Daniel Kiefer (Robert Patrick) wield M4A1 Carbines when the safe house is attacked.
AK-47
Several hitmen use AK-47s during the safe house attack and later during a gunfight in a shantytown.
Vektor R6
Carlos Villar (Rubén Blades), a forger and friend of Frost's, uses a Vektor R6 carbine while defending his home from an attack.
Machine Guns
M249 Paratrooper
A hitman who breaches the door of the safe house fires a M249 SAW Paratrooper before being cut down by one of the CIA agents.
Other
M84 Stun Grenade
The hitmen toss M84 stun grenades after breaching the safe house.
