Brick (2005)

Brick is a 2005 neo-noir written and directed by Rian Johnson (Looper) and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lukas Haas, Noah Fleiss and Nora Zehetner. This was the first feature film directed by Johnson, who was inspired by the works of Dashiell Hammett, but did not want to make a typical detective film, thus the high school setting. The film was made for less than half a million dollars and was a critical success, earning numerous nominations at festivals and winning several, including a special jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Ruger GP100

Tugger (Noah Fleiss) uses a stainless Ruger GP100 with a 4" barrel and adjustable sights throughout the film. Brendan (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) comes away with it after a brief struggle.
