Dark Blue is a 2002 crime thriller starring Kurt Russell as a third generation LAPD detective who investigates a quadruple homicide on the eve of the L.A. Riots in 1992. The screenplay was written by David Ayer (Training Day) from a story by James Ellroy (L.A. Confidential).

Smith & Wesson Model 10
SIS Detective Eldon Perry (Kurt Russell) carries his father's .38 Smith & Wesson Model 10 on the small of his back for the later half of the film. He says that his father and his partner "built this city with bullets". He uses it to shoot through the roof at the two suspects.
Smith & Wesson 4506
Perry's (Kurt Russell) chief sidearm is a Smith & Wesson 4506 pistol which he keeps in a shoulder rig. The LAPD were not authorized to use the .45 caliber 4506 until after the North Hollywood Shootout, which wasn't until 1997.
Smith & Wesson 4566
Perry's (Kurt Russell) backup is the Smith & Wesson 4566 which he keeps on his right hip.
Smith & Wesson 59
SIS Detective Bobby Keough (Scott Speedman) carries a 9mm Smith & Wesson 59 as his chief sidearm.
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is the chief sidearm of Sgt. Beth Williamson (Michael Michele). It's seen on the nightstand when Beth is in bed with Bobby Keough.
Ruger Mk I
Darryl Orchard (Kurupt) and Gary Sidwell (Dash Mihok) use two Ruger Mk I suppressed pistols while robbing the Jack O' Hearts liquor store.
Harrington & Richardson Revolver
When the suspect Perry and Keough chase down an alley claims he doesn't have a gun, Perry (Kurt Russell) throws down a Harrington & Richardson .22 revolver to frame him.

Detective Perry (Kurt Russell) is armed with a modified Mossberg 500 Cruiser as he goes to the house of Orchard and Sidwell in the climax of the film. It's outfitted with a cutdown barrel, cutdown pump action and saddle shell holder.
