The AKS-74 rifle with (but more commonly without) BG-15 Grenade launcher was used by Soviet Afghan National Army and Mujahideen. Considered to use "jungle-style" taped-together magazine stacks, thus the ammo supply is carried in 60-round increments and is incompatible with AKS-74U.
