The following firearms are used in the television series Sherlock:
Handguns
Airsoft SIG-Sauer P226R Stainless (L106A1 stand-in)
In S1E1, Dr. Watson (Martin Freeman) keeps a SIG P226R Stainless in a desk drawer in his apartment. The prop is actually a gas-powered airsoft replica manufactured by Tokyo Marui. Given Watson's military background, this is likely meant as a stand-in for the SIG-Sauer L106A1, which is the British Army's standard issue sidearm.
Another P226R Stainless appears in S1E2 in the flat of murder victim Eddie Van Coon (Daniel Percival).
Watson's P226R resurfaces in S1E3 where it is seen in the hands of Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) who, in a fit of boredom, uses it to shoot holes in a smiley face painted on the wall of his living room. Having learned their mistake of remaining unarmed while pursuing dangerous criminals in S1E2, both Watson and Sherlock begin carrying it while investigating cases. In his first appearance, Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott) mistakenly refers to it as a "British Army L9A1", which was the Browning Hi-Power version used by the British army.
STI Edge (Cigarette Lighter)
The cabbie in S1E1 uses a novelty cigarette lighter disguised as an STI Edge.
Bruni/BBM "ME-8 Police" blank firing gun
At the end of S1E2, General Shan (Sarah Lam) uses a Bruni/BBM "ME-8 Police", an 8mm blank-firing gun modeled after the Walther PPK.
Glock 17
A number of 2nd generation Glock 17 pistols are seen in season 2. The CIA agents in S2E1 use 2rd generation pistols, some of which are outfitted with suppressors. also keeps a suppressed 2nd generation Glock 17 in a safe rigged to fire when the safe is opened.
Two-Tone Glock 17
Detective Lestrade (Rupert Graves) uses a two-tone Glock 17 at the end of S2E2.
Beretta 92FS Inox
Henry Knight (Russell Tovey) uses a Beretta 92FS Inox in S2E2 when he thinks that the gigantic hound is outside his home. Judging from the color and reflectivity of the finish, this is likely the Tokyo Marui airsoft replica of the 92FS Inox.
Rifles
AK Variant
During Dr. Watson's flashback to his tour in Afghanistan in S1E1, one ANA soldier is seen using a variant of the AK-47.
AK-47
One of the terrorist at the end of S2E1 is armed with an AK-47 rifle. As with the P226, this is likely an airsoft gun.
L85A2
A soldier in Afghanistan is seen firing a L85A2 rifle in S1E1. Several other L85A2 rifles are seen in the hands of some of the soldiers at the Baskerville research compound.
Heckler & Koch G36C
Some of the soldiers at the Baskerville facility are armed with Heckler & Koch G36C carbines.
Machine Guns
L7A2
Several U.K. soldiers in Afghanistan are seen with L7A2 machine guns in S1E1.
L110A1
At least one soldier in Afghanistan is seen armed with an L110A1 (the U.K. designation for the FN Minimi Para).
DShK heavy machine gun
A DShK heavy machine gun is seen mounted on the terrorists Hummer at the end of S2E1.
Other Weapons
Type 69 RPG
An insurgent is seen using a Type 69 RPG during the flashback at the beginning of S1E1.
