Michael O'Hara (Orson Welles) takes a Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket from Elsa Bannister's (Rita Hayworth) purse, returning it to her before she drives away.

Michael hands Elsa's pistol back to her.

Elsa puts her pistol back in her purse.

George Grisby (Glenn Anders) gives Michael O'Hara (Orson Welles) a Colt Detective Special to use in his plot.

Grisby draws his Detective Special.

Grisby stands with his Detective Special.

Michael fires Grisby's Detective Special.

Policemen look over the Detective Special found on Michael.

George Grisby (Glenn Anders) takes a Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless from his suitcoat pocket before going to see Bannister.

Grisby checks his pistol.

The San Francisco police officers who surround Michael when he arrives at Bannister's office carry Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers.

A policeman with his S&W drawn as Michael arrives.
