''I am VERY interested in rare, obscure Smith & Wesson handguns. Like, what happened to Models 4 through 9, The Model 11, Model 16, Model 18, Model 26, and so on? They MUST be out there. They wouldn't just jump numbers would they?''
Of course I have no way of knowing if you are serious or joking. But if you aren't joking an excellent book to have is ''The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson. 3rd Edition'' by Jim Supica and Ricahrd Nahas. The book will answer all your question and then some. Questions you didn't even know you wanted to ask. But I suspect you're making a joke so welcome to imfdb. Be sure to read the Rules, Standards and Principles. It can save you some heartburn if you decide to build a page or contribute to the many different pages and categorie that we have here. --[[User:Jcordell|Jcordell]] ([[User talk:Jcordell|talk]]) 20:33, 2 February 2013 (EST)

I am VERY interested in rare, obscure Smith & Wesson handguns. Like, what happened to Models 4 through 9, The Model 11, Model 16, Model 18, Model 26, and so on? They MUST be out there. They wouldn't just jump numbers would they?

Of course I have no way of knowing if you are serious or joking. But if you aren't joking an excellent book to have is The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson. 3rd Edition by Jim Supica and Ricahrd Nahas. The book will answer all your question and then some.
