THIS PAGE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
The Punisher is a 1993 beat 'em up arcade game published by Capcom. The player assumes control of either The Punisher or Nick Fury, or both in co-op. As a beat 'em up the combat is generally melee-oriented until gun-armed enemies show up, prompting a shoot 'em up style of gameplay.
The following weapons appear in the 1993 arcade game The Punisher:
M1911A1
Throughout the game enemies armed with this pistol and M1928 Thompsons or robot copies of Pretty Boy will prompt Nick Fury and Punisher to pull out their own M1911A1s. The player can fire at will with unlimited ammo until all such enemies are down, in which case they holster the sidearms and beat 'em up gameplay is resumed. Players can pick up the pistols the enemies drop for 800 points (or 800 rounds, considering the unlimited ammo thing).
IMI Uzi
In the opening cutscene a gangster can be spotted holding an Uzi just behind Bruno. The weapon never appears in the game itself.
M16A1 with M203 Grenade Launcher
In the opening cutscene it flashes to 3 M16A1 rifles fitted with M203 grenade launchers opening fire, presumably the guns used to kill Frank and his family. An M16 Rifle appears in the game but not the M16A1, nor is it fitted with the M203.
AK-74
When the game is left in demo mode it will show profiles of both The Punisher and Nick Fury. In the Punisher's picture he is firing an AK-74. This weapon doesn't appear in the game itself.
Ingram MAC-10
The MAC-10, called "Ingram" in the game, appears as a usable weapon with 20 rounds.
M16 Rifle
The M16 can be picked up and used in the game, holding 20 rounds. Jigsaw uses it in his brief appearance as well.
M26 Hand Grenade
The player is always started with 4 M26 Grenades. They can be thrown by jumping up and hitting both buttons to throw one directly down, affecting enemies in that vicinity. Otherwise when a player's health is at 0% hitting both buttons will prompt a throw-and-dive animation and make it a Super Grenade that affects every enemy on the screen.
