Saints Row 2 is the second game in the Saints Row series and is slated for release on 14 October 2008. In the game you now have the possibility of dual-wielding weapons and using human shields. Please note that any material, until otherwise, is based on things seen in game trailers and content from the SR2 website.

Taser

  • Used by police and Ultor guards in-game as the "Stun Gun".

USAS-12 Automatic shotgun

  • Appears as the "AS14 Hammer". Used by Ultor Corporation.

Colt M4A1 Carbine

  • Appears again as the "AR-40 Xtnd". Used by Ultor Corporation

This is not the M4A1, as it has a smaller muzzle. The rifle is, in fact, an AR-15/SP1 modified to look like an XM177 and converted to full-auto.

It's a game, not a movie or TV show. The artists who work on the game don't always make accurate in-game models. I would need to see a picture to tell you for sure what the artists used as their reference. But I imagine most artists simply take photos off whatever sites they find and use those as references. When I used to do CS skins, that's what I always did.

Glock 21

  • Appears again as "NR4". Used by Police. Has good stopping power and accuracy.

Colt Anaconda

Barret M82A1 .50 Carbine

  • Replaces "Mcmanus" as "Mcmanus 2010".

IMI Uzi

  • Known in-game as "GAL 43" It has a wierd MAC-10 style stock for some reason. Can be dual wielded.

Heckler and Koch XM8

  • Known as the "AR-50 XMAC" in-game. Seen in the hands of Ultor (...SWAT team???) in a trailer. Can be had with a grenade launcher as well

Heckler and Koch MP5K

  • Appears in-game as the "SKR-9 Threat". Can be dual-wielded

FN Minimi/M249 SAW (possible)

  • Cannot confirm, though the LMG seen in one of the trailers bears strong resemblance to the M249.

AK-47

  • Reappears as "K6 Krukov"

Beretta 92FS Inox

  • Reappears as "Vice 9". The Beretta in SR2 actually looks more like a 92SB rather than the FS of the first game. It is also stainless in SR2. It is seen in the hands of a police officer in one of the trailers. Often used by gangsters.

Benelli M3

  • Appears again as "Tombstone." Used by police and Ultor members.

Flame Thrower

  • An oversized double-barreled futuristic-looking lighter.

XM214 "Six Pak"

  • Originally a project for a man-portable minigun, this fabled weapon is found in SR2

RPG-7V

Upgraded to look futuristic (lots more chrome) and known as the "Annihilator".

Satchel Charge

  • Your basic square hunk of C4

Chainsaw

A horror movie staple which makes its appearance in SR2

Samurai Sword

  • Used by the Asian gang "Ronin" and also seen in the hands of Johnny Gat (an ally of yours) in a trailer
