Chuck is an American comedy spy series that stars Zachary Levi as Chuck Bartowski, an ordinary IT technician employed at the "Nerd Herd" section of the Buy More, a consumer electronics store. In a strange turn of events, the contents of the "Intersect," a government supercomputer of intelligence pooled together by all branches of the government after 9/11, is downloaded into his brain. Because he now experiences periodic flashes where his brain accesses the Intersect files, Chuck finds himself the target of evil organizations, and non-aligned countries; while members of the CIA and NSA who are assigned to protect him work undercover at the Buy More. Since Chuck and other characters have a vast knowledge of pop culture, many in-jokes are interspersed throughout the series. The series premiered in 2007 and aired for five seasons on NBC in the United States.
