The Ruger LCP (Lightweight Compact Pistol) is an ultra compact 380 pistol that was unveiled by Ruger at the 2008 Shot show. It has a 6+1 capacity and weighs less than 10 oz. This pistol is Ruger's first entry into the field of tiny, ultra-light defensive handguns. It has been available to the public since the Summer of 2008.
