In Day 3 of 24, Agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is asked to recover a deadly virus that's been threatened to be released in several cities throughout the country as he battles a drug addiction he picked up while on an undercover assignment.
The following weapons were used in Season 3 of 24:
Handguns
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
Starting with Season 3, the Heckler & Koch USP Compact replaces the SIG-Sauer P228 as the weapon of choice for Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) (although he previously used full-size USPs in several episodes of Seasons 1 and 2).
TRIVIA: There were only two H&K USP Compacts used by Kiefer Sutherland through the entire run of the series. This was because Kiefer is a method actor and did not like to change props. He only wore 3 real kevlar bullet proof vests through out all 8 seasons. (IMFDB thanks The Golden Closet for providing the documentation on this gun.)
Smith & Wesson 4006
CTU Agent Chase Edmunds (James Badge Dale) carries the Smith & Wesson 4006 as his main sidearm throughout the season. It is sometimes fitted with a suppressor.
Smith & Wesson 5904
In Episode 2:00am-3:00am, Kim Bauer (Elisha Cuthbert) is taking a Smith & Wesson 5904 off a slain CTU guard and holds it on Nina Meyers (Sarah Clarke).
Beretta 92FS Inox
Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) uses a Beretta 92FS Inox in episode 22 during the exchange for Saunders daughter and Michelle.
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is seen used by LAPD officers, Jack Bauer in Mexico and when confronting Nina in CTU. Ramon Salazar, and many of the Salazar henchmen also uses it. An assailant also uses one to wound Tony when he's in the shopping mall.
Colt M1911
Hector allows his brother-in-law to fire a Colt 1911 with pearl handles.
Glock 19
CTU Agent Michelle Dessler (Reiko Aylesworth) is seen using a Glock 19 in the Chandler Plaza Hotel. A Salazar henchman is also seen with one until Chase takes it away during a scene in Mexico. Nina Myers (Sarah Clarke) uses one after she escapes inside CTU, just before Jack kills her.
Glock 26
A two-tone Glock 26 is given to Kim Bauer (Elisha Cuthbert) by her father, Jack Bauer for use during an undercover mission, where she posed as Jane Saunders.
Heckler & Koch P7M13
A Heckler & Koch P7M13 is used by the widow of CTU agent Gael Ortega in a confrontation with Saunders. Also used by Gael to intimidate Kim.
SIG-Sauer P230
Ted Packard uses a SIG-Sauer P230 in front of Anne Packard in Episode 8 (8:00pm-9:00pm).
SIG-Sauer P228
The SIG-Sauer P228 is another handgun used by CTU security personnel.
SIG Pro
A SIG Pro is used to fire on CTU personnel during Saunders' capture.
Makarov PM
Jack Bauer uses a Makarov PM to supposedely "kill" Chase.
Smith & Wesson Model 66
A Smith & Wesson Model 66 is used to play a game of Russian roulette during the prison riot.
Smith & Wesson SW99
Carried by several CTU agents and Salazar henchmen throughout Season 3 including CTU Agent Tom Baker (Daniel Dae Kim) This is the cheaper American made copy of the Walther P99, distinguishable by the curved trigger guard.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
A Smith & Wesson Model 15 appears to be used by Julia when confronting Sherry Palmer.
Walther PPK
Stolen out of the Hotel Security Chief's desk by an employee attempting to escape the hotel, it appears briefly in several scenes before Michelle Dessler confronts and disarms the employee. The hammer is the give away that the pistol is a PPK and not a SIG-Sauer P232, that and the general shape of the gun is radically different. A PPK was handed to Jack to "kill" Chase, but is not loaded. If you look closer, the pistol is not a Walther PPK, but a copy. It is most likely an Erma Excam RX22 (the barrel appears to be .22) but it could also be the Iver Johnson copy as well. Nina also carries one when Jack kills her bodyguards.
Walther P99
Used by one of Michael Amador's men in Chinatown. Also seen used by Chase during Ramon Salazar's capture in Mexico.
Shotguns
Remington 870
Used by prison guards and later by Ramon during the escape from prison. Jack was also seen holding one in the first episode.
Mossberg 590 Compact Cruiser
During a drug bust, one of the dealers opens fire on Jack and Chase with this weapon.
Rifles
Unknown AK variants
Used by many henchmen working for Salazar and Amador.
Heckler & Koch HK91
In episode 12:00am-1:00am, two of the Salazar henchmen were seen using them fitted with scopes.
Heckler and Koch MP5K
Used by one of Michael Amador's men when they ambushed and slaughtered Delta 3 unit.
Unknown Hunting Rifle
During the scene when Jack was forced to "kill" Chase, one of the Salazar henchmen is seen in the background holding a hunting rifle.
Unknown Sniper Rifle
Used by Chase during the gunfight between Delta 3 unit and Salazar henchmen. R700
Unknown Weapons
A number of unknown SMGs and Assault Rifles were used by Michael Amador's men when they ambushed and slaughtered Delta 3 unit. But that scene is too dark to identify the makes and models.
M4A1 Carbine
Used by members of the CTU Tactical Team throughout Season 3 for the first time in the series.
Machine Guns
M60E3
Used to pin down Jack as he chases Saunders trying to escape in chopper. Also used in the attack at the MI6 office.
Browning M2

Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Used by members of the CTU Tactical Team throughout Season 3. It's also used by Saunders' men.
