The following weapons were used in the film Braddock: Missing in Action III:
Rifles
M16A1
The M16A1 is first seen held by both ARVN and American soldiers during the fall of Saigon. It's also seen held by Thai border guards and US Army Green Berets at the border.
AK Variants
Both the Type-56 and the (AK-47) are used by Vietnamese soldiers. Colonel James Braddock (Chuck Norris) is seen a Norinco during his escape from the prison camp as well as when he is engaging General Quoc's Mil MI-24 Hind helicopter.
Heckler & Koch G3A4 with under-barrel 6 shot launcher
The Heckler & Koch G3A4 with under-barrel 6 shot launcher is Colonel James Braddock's main weapon of the movie. The weapon also has an auto-telescoping bayonet. The under-barrel launcher is similar to the one used by Pancho in Predator.
Machine Guns
M60 machine gun
The M60 is used throughout the film. The machine gun is first seen mounted as door guns on American Huey helicopters during the fall of Saigon. Vietnamese Huey helicopters also are armed with the M60. It's also mounted in guard towers at the Vietnamese camp.
Handguns
M1911A1
Col. Braddock is seen with an M1911A1 holstered during the fall of Saigon. Braddock then pulls one on the transport pilot as he and children make their escape from the camp. General Quoc (Aki Aleong) also uses one to fire at Braddock's plane.
Walther P38
General Quoc (Aki Aleong) pulls his Walther P38 during Braddock's escape.
Smith & Wesson Model 30
A Vietnamese guard pulls a Smith & Wesson Model 30 when confronted by Braddock.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
During the fall of Saigon, a Vietnamese man pulls a Smith & Wesson Model 60 when Braddock denies him access to the helicopter.
Shotguns
Remington Model 31
A Remington Model 31 shotgun appears to be used in a torture device inside the Vietnamese prison camp. It is seen welded onto a metal stand, with a cable tied around the trigger that leads to a pair of handcuffs from the ceiling.
Trivia
The "Mi-24 Hind" in the film is Sikorsky S-62 mocked up to resemble the Russian attack helicopter. The helicopter would later be modified again and used in the 1989 Dolph Lundgren movie Red Scorpion.
The final battle takes a place at the Thai border, however, Vietnam borders Laos and Cambodia first; and then Thailand.
During production of the movie filmed in the Philippines, A Philippine Air Force helicopter that was hired by the Cannon Film Group, crashed into Manila Bay with four Filipino troops killed alongside five other people wounded. Coincidentally, this accident occurred the same day the "Twilight Zone Tragedy" verdict was handed down in Los Angeles Superior Court.
