Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following weapons appear in the anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood:
M14 Rifle
A weapon bearing a strong resemblance to an M14 rifle appears as the standard-issue weapon of Amestrian solders in the series, although with different trigger guard, magazine, and gas system design.
Walther MPL
Another weapon used by Amestrian soldiers is the Walther MPL submachine gun, usually seen without a stock.
Minigun
In one episode, a religious extremist known as Father Cornello uses a Philosopher's Stone to transmute his cane into a weapon resembling a handheld GE M134 Minigun. Unlike most handheld examples which are fired from the hip, Cornello fires his from the shoulder.
Maxim M1910 Machine Gun
In one episode, Roy Mustang has a flashback to the Ishvalan War of Extermination showing an Ishvalan resistance fighter engaging attacking Amestrian soldiers with a Maxim M1910 machine gun.
Mosin Nagant M91/30
In flashbacks to the Ishvalan War of Extermination, both Amestrian soldiers and Ishvalan resistance fighters can be seen armed with Mosin Nagant M91/30 rifles, the rifles used by the Ishvalans likely comandeered from Amestrians. The weapons are incorrectly shown firing in semi-auto, as the bolt is not cycled between shots.
Panzerschreck
The Panzerschreck makes several appearances in the series, first being used by Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong, commanding officer of Fort Briggs when the homonculus Sloth attacks the outpost, then later by Central soldiers fighting against another homonculus, Greed. Briggs soldiers can also be seen firing numerous Panzerschrecks at Father (the creator and leader of the other homonculi) during the final battle near the end of the series. In each instance however, the weapons prove useless due the the homonculi's superhuman powers; even direct hits barely slowing them down.
Browning M1919 Machine Gun
Another weapon seen in the series is the Browning M1919 machine gun, the barrel is shown with elongated cooling vents, like the British Mk II model. A pair of these weapons are seen being commandeered by soldiers from Briggs when attempting to fend off Central soldiers trying to retake the command center, and several more are seen being fired on Father later on.
Mauser C96
In one episode, one of Maj. General Armstrong's subordinates, Captain Buccaneer can be seen armed with a Mauser C96, firing a shot at Edward Elric's feet when he suspects him of being a traitor.
Model 24 Stielhandgranate
In one episode near the end of the series, Fuhrer King Bradley can be seen carrying a Model 24 Stielhandgranate tucked into his belt. He uses the weapon to destroy a tank operated by Briggs soldiers at the command center.
