Manheim's Gun (2011 Moved from main page)
When Manheim (Russel Levy) receives a call while laying down on his bed we can see an unknown gun next to his knife on top of the table, it looks like a Star Ultrastar or a SIG-Sauer P226, hard to tell. It looks kinda like a 3rd gen S&W to me. It looks like the SIG Pro 2009 to me. It looks like USP compact to me. (no, the grip is too slanted to be either the SIGs or the USP Compact) Its obviously striker fired, so looks like an FN forty-nine or a CZ100. Actually, it looks like it has a hammer. It doesn't seem like a USP as it doesn't have a beaver-tail (the ones I've seen). It looks like a P226/229 with the rounded trigger guard and tail, but the floor plate of the magazine doesn't look like any I've seen.
Here's a closeup that might help: media: http://i311.photobucket.com/albums/kk460/Heeler_2008/enhanced.png
Looks like it has one of those silver serial number plates in front of the trigger guard like SP2009 shown in the bank safety deposit box. I'd almost say for certain that's what it was but the end of the barrel seems to protrude slightly from the slide like most glocks do, but then again it has the rounded trigger guard like the SP2009 and I don't know of any glock that has the rounded trigger guard... they're all recurve or "concave" rather than convex at the front.
Unknown Gun (moved from main page)
I was just taking those screens to help identify the above pistol and I discovered this shot of the second assassin's pistol in that scene. It looks like a two tone SIG Sauer P226.
- It could possibly be the same SIG they used earlier under different lighting.

They should be removed. This page has too many spoilers in violation of IMFDB rules MoviePropMaster2008 07:48, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
SIG P225 disassembly
I actually have the pleasure of owning a superb SIG-Sauer P-225 (actually a former German police service P6) and I can tell you that is not the way it is disassembled. To disassemble a P-225/P6, who first retract the slide fully to the rear and secure it there with the slide step catch and then turn a lever which precipitates the removal of the slide and, subsequently, the barrel and recoil spring. Granted though, this is not as cool as how he did it in the movie.SAWGunner89 15:26, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Walther P5C
Dosen't the gun change from plain black to two tone when he is walking towards the door, in picture 4 ? AceV
- No, it's just the lighting. -MT2008 19:52, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
o ok thanks, I though it did, it looks like it. AceV
Did anyone notice the weird 1-round magazine during the Treadstone shootout? After Jason puts the big guy's head through the spindles on the top floor, he loads a new magazine into his pistol. The guy with the assault rifle comes up the stairs, and Jason jumps down with the big guy's body, shooting one round into the assault rifle guy's head. When he lands, the pistol is locked open and, after recovering from the fall, Jason once again loads a new magazine into the pistol. Kind of odd, hey? Cozmo 01:36, 27 April 2011 (CDT)
-Yeah I noticed that, must be an editing mistake. These movies have all sorts of innacurracies like that. --Diego Wolfwood 01:47, 18 May 2011 (CDT)
Lots of SIGs
I noticed while wtaching the movie (and from the list here) that nearly every character uses a SIG of some sort. Is this coincidence, or is it like in End of Days where Glock paid them to?
It think that's since it's partially shot in Germany and sigs are very common guns there. Usually the German goverment lends weapons to films because they are nice. (: And then when they shot somewhere else i think they wanted consistancy. 81.235.147.222 09:35, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Weapon handling
Many of the articles on imfdb comment on the actor's weapon handling, such as bad grips or closed eyes. However, I couldn't find any on the Bourne movies and I was wondering how Damon's weapon handling was. Having never handled a weapon myself, how does he look? Are there any scenes where he looks particularly good, or other where he looks particularly bad? What about the other actors?
There's something about Damon in these movies that makes him look good, perhaps something about his speed or decisiveness. Is that mostly crap? Does he really behave onscreen like a highly trained black ops guy?
Thanks. 206.248.132.138 02:34, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
The his Handling of a weapon seems to be that of any actor in a recent high budget movie, he has obviously been instructed by someone with professional knowledge, but he lacks the obvious extensive training that some actors have gone through for their roles (Cruise in Collateral for instance). From what I've read and can determine myself, I think his character work centred mainly on giving off the image of someone who could be dangerous. Boxing and fight training, because of his need to be proficient in this area and to build a confident Aura about him that someone, with his ability, would naturally have.
As for being like a highly train spec ops guy, that is a difficult question, his role in the film is of someone akin to CIA SAD workers. These kinds of guy don't really tell anyone about it, and, to be honest, not even true military special forces soldiers tell anyone much. I can tell you that he acts tactically, and decisively, something a heavy military based training scheme would embed in you. But, everything about his abilities and use and handling of weaponry, seem to be based in reality, but have somewhat of a subtle movie flare. --Jackie.45Cal 12:43, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
Possible Taurus
