Black Mesa is an upcoming video game utilizing the Source engine to re-create the original Half-Life. The creators have stated they hated Half-Life: Source, so they wanted to make it from scratch. No release date has been set but on the web-site it says we've got a when it's done approach.
The following weapons are scheduled to make an appearance in the game:
Glock 17
The standard pistol returns from the PC version, this time with tritium illuminated sights. It looks like a Glock 17, however, the model's texture says it's a Glock 19.
Colt Python
The Colt Python makes a comeback from the original game. On the side it says ".357 PYTHON". It has a zoom feature in both single player and multi-player, despite the fact that it has no visible scope installed.
Heckler & Koch MP5A5
The MP5 returns with the M203 grenade launcher. Previous, unused model had Russian GP-30 grenade launcher, EOTech Holographic sight and MP5K PDW-style side-folding stock. (Note that the M203 or GP-30 launchers are not capable of being mounted on an unmodified MP5 variant in real life.)
Colt M4A1 with M203 grenade launcher
The Colt M4A1 (substituting the Model 727 seen as the HD and PS2 replacement of the MP5 in the original game) is no longer included in the game, however its image can be found on the game's website.
Franchi SPAS-12
The SPAS-12 makes its return in Black Mesa. The current model doesn't feature the foldable stock, like in the original game without the HD update.
Futuristic Armbrust ATW
The futuristic version of the Armbrust ATW seen in Half-Life will be also usable in BM.
Mk 2 Hand Grenade
The Mk 2 hand grenade will also be included in the final version.
Browning M2HB
The model of the Browning M2HB can be seen on the game's website.
M230 Chain Gun
The M230 Chain Gun can be seen on a concept art of an Apache helicopter.
