Umm, yeah. Only two of the soldiers were British, DC and Mac. Prior is American, Taktarov is Russian, Cotter is Belgian, Voytech is Yugoslavian, and Jordan is Scottish. And, once again, they were mercenaries, on a mission is some seedy ''Eastern bloc'' country. Surplus AKs and such would propably be plentiful, and on the right market, cheap. Of course, DC propably got himself a G36C 'cause he's British, and familiar with it, but the most of the others are soldiers from regions where AK variants have been prevalent. Plus, it's easier to get weapons locally, than to get them in Britain and get them through customs. --[[User:Warejaws|Warejaws]] 06:12, 12 October 2011 (CDT) | Umm, yeah. I just watched the beginning again based on this comment. DC says he only works regularly with Prior, which might explain their unique weapons. The other guys and the weapons were to be rounded up within 24 hours, and only $5000 for equipment. $5K for five AKs and five sidearms, plus ammo, radios and miscellaneous items seems to work out. --[[User:Funkychinaman|Funkychinaman]] 17:12, 13 October 2011 (CDT) |

well, i uploaded screencaps and a poster, but i'll be damned if i know how to get them on the page. anybody is free to take it from here.
- Took a few more caps and cleaned up the page a bit. This movie is REALLY hard to cap. Most of the time it's too dark to see anything. --Funkychinaman 23:31, 16 June 2011 (CDT)
Zombies
How can this movie be classed as a zombie film it has no zombies in it. It has Nazi ghosts, Immortal men and Golem.
they are technically zombies as they are undead who can do paranormal and supernatural things.-Gunner5
AK's
Why are BRITISH mercanaries armed with AK pattern rifles. I know the movie takes place in an alternated present, but it is outdated.--Gunner5
Why not? AKs are reliable, have common ammo in the area, do what they need to do, and some people like AKs better than other options, same with M4s, M14s, etc.Ranger01 16:24, 11 October 2011 (CDT)
Yeah, I personally prefer AKs over AR-15s. Plus they are mercenaries, they're not working for any specific government/faction. They propably just got what was cheap and more easily accessible in that specific country/region. --Warejaws 17:14, 11 October 2011 (CDT)
More cheap? Easily accessible? I guess i can see what you mean. But this is ENGLAND. Your not allowed to own personal firearms in England. Since AK's are not issued to the Brits and never were, they must be personal weapons. Reliable, yes, cheap, probably not. The G36C and the Berettas would be more easier to gain.--Gunner5
Who says they live in the UK? Plus even in the UK there are ways around the laws for some companies, there are a few PMCs running out of the UK that I'm gonna bet have some firearms that the average Tom, Dick, and Harry cant have.Ranger01 19:16, 11 October 2011 (CDT)
I guess im over reacting, but as much as I liked this movie, I still would have rather seen them with guns like the L1A1 or the MP5, not AK's. I liked that they at least had two G36C's but more would have been nice. --Gunner5
