War (Russian Title: Voyna/Война) is a 2002 Russian war drama directed by Aleksey Balabanov. Chechen guerilla leader Aslan holds captive few people. Among them two british actors (John and his fiancee Margaret ), an injured Russian Captain Medvedev and Russian soldier Ivan Ermakov. Aslan sets John free to return to Britain that collected money for ransom his fiancee back. As a gesture of generosity he also lets go Ivan. Some times ago John finds Ivan and begs him to help him get Margaret out of captivity
