Revision as of 01:20, 24 September 2011
Fast Five is the fifth installment in the The Fast and the Furious franchise. Directed by Justin Lin (who also directed The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Fast and Furious) the 2011 sequel follows Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) and their crew who are on the run from a U.S federal agent (Dwayne Johnson) and a ruthless drug lord in Rio De Janeiro.
The following weapons were used in the film Fast Five:
Handguns
SIG-Sauer P226R
Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) carries a SIG-Sauer P226R as his sidearm throughout the film, notably seen during the climax of the film. It is also seen on the promotional poster for the film.
Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Center
Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 629 Performance Center as his sidearm.
Taurus PT92C
Brazilian Military Police (PMERJ) Officer Elena Neves (Elsa Pataky) uses a Taurus PT92C with wooden grips as her sidearm.
Jericho 941
Gisele Yashar (Gal Gadot) is seen drawing a black Jericho 941 when she is introduced in the film. Despite supposedly being ex-military, she holds her Jericho gangster-style at a 90° angle.
Beretta 92FS Inox
Zizi (Michael Irby) uses a Beretta 92FS Inox as his sidearm.
Glock 18C
When Brian and Mia first meet Vince (Matt Schulze) in the favela, he tucks what appears to be a Glock 18C with an extended 33-round magazine and an accessory rail in to the back of his pants. The gun is never really seen clearly, so there is a possibility that it is merely a Glock 19 with an extended magazine.
Unidentified Handguns
Numerous revolvers and semi-auto pistols are seen when Hobb's team attemts to arrest Dom at a street race, numerous bystanders drawing on the DSS team.
Shotguns
Remington 870
Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) carries what appears to be a Remington 870 entry gun when he raids one of Reyes' (Joaquim de Almeida) safe houses. A full-sized 870 is used by Tego (Tego Calderon) during the same scene.
Mossberg 590
Agent Chato (Yorgo Constantine) carries a Mossberg 590 with Surefire forend, an ATI collapsible stock and a door-breaching brake when Hobbs and Toretto first confront each other. Toretto is later seen using it when the DSS convoy is ambushed, and a PMERJ officer is seen firing a 590 during a car chase.
M26 MASS
Hobbs is shown firing a M26 MASS shotgun attached to a M4A1 carbine.
Submachine Guns
FN P90
Agent Chato is also armed with a FN P90 with an EOTech sight. Vince later uses the P90 to fight off Reyes' gunmen during an ambush, firing from the hip, no less.
Heckler & Koch UMP
Agent Macroy (Geoff Meed) uses an Heckler & Koch UMP with an EOTech sight as his main weapon.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Several gunmen use Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns. An officer guarding the Polícia Militar building also holds a MP5A3.
IMI Uzi
A favela gangster is seen holding a Uzi submachine gun. Several of Zizi's gunmen also use them during the chase in the favela.
Carl Gustav M/45
Favela gangsters also are seen with the Carl Gustav M/45. During the robbery of Reyes' safehouse, Santos (Don Omar) carries a Carl Gustav M/45.
Colt 9mm Submachine Gun
Colt 9mm Submachine Guns are used by various gangsters and PMERJ officers.
Rifles
AKMSU (With MP5K foregrip)
Zizi uses a modified AKMSU with a MP5K-style foregrip and sights while searching for Toretto and O'Connor in the favela.
AKS-47
Many of Reyes' gunmen are armed with AKS-47 rifles.
AMD-65
A gunman that opens fire on Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) is armed with what appears to be a Hungarian AMD-65 rifle.
Zastava M70AB2
A second gunman is armed with a Zastava M70AB2 rifle. Various other gangsters are also seen with the M70AB2 throughout the film.
Colt M4A1
Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) carries an M4A1 with an M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System attached to it and a C-More red dot sight.
