Typhoon (Korean Title: 태풍/Taepung) is a 2005 Korean action film directed by Kwak Kyung-taek and starring Jang Dong-gun, Lee Jung-jae and Lee Mi-yeon.
The following weapons are seen in the film Typhoon:
Handguns
M1911A1
The M1911A1 pistol is initially seen in the hands of a Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) agent guarding a valuable cargo in the introduction, and is later used by ROKN Lieutenant Kang Se-Jong (Jung-Jae Lee) in Russia.
Colt Detective Special (3rd generation)
Lt. Kang uses a third-generation Colt Detective Special to interrogate pirate warlord Peter in Bangkok.
Glock 17
Lt. Kang fires a Glock 17 while pursuing Sin (Dong-Gun Jang) in Busan, South Korea. Later, ROKN UDT/SEAL commandos are shown equipping themselves with Glock 17s as they prepare to intercept Sin before he launches a terrorist attack on the Korean peninsula.
Beretta 92FS
In a continuity error, Kang's Glock turns into a Beretta 92FS when he gets into a car chase with Sin and the Russian mobsters that are assisting him.
Tokarev TT-33
Korean National Intelligence Service (NIS) agents at a safehouse in Vladivostok are somewhat curiously armed with Tokarev TT-33 pistols. Sin commandeers a suppressed Tokarev from one of the agents and uses it to escape their custody.
Walther P38
A Chinese police commander uses a Walther P38 in a flashback.
Submachine Guns
IMI Uzi
Peter's guards at his compound are all armed with Uzi submachine guns.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Lt. Kang and UDT/SEAL commandos use the Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with laser pointers and Surefire forends during the finale.
Rifles
M4A1 Carbine
A DIA agent fires a M4A1 carbine with an ACOG sight in the introduction.
Norinco Type 56-1
Sin and his pirate band use Norinco Type 56-1 rifles when they seize the cargo ship that the DIA is protecting. Type 56-1s are also used by Toto (Chatthapong Pantanaunkul) and other pirates in the finale.
Norinco Type 56
Chinese police carry Norinco Type 56 rifles in a flashback sequence. In the final battle between the UDT/SEAL team and Sin's pirates, Somchai (David Lee McInnis) uses a modified Type 56 with a sniper scope to shoot at the commandos.
AK-74
Various guards in the Russian city of Ussuriysk hold AK-74 rifles.
AKS-74
Other Russian guards can be seen with the AKS-74.
AKS-74U
Toto uses an AKS-74U with a suppressor and a RPK-74 45-round magazine to cover Sin during his escape from the NIS safehouse.
SVD Dragunov
A suppressed SVD Dragunov is used by Somchai to shoot several NIS agents while Sin is escaping.
Heckler & Koch HK33KA3
UDT/SEAL commandos use Heckler & Koch HK33KA3 rifles alongside the MP5A3s in the finale.
Romanian PM. md. 65
A few pirates in the finale appear to be using Romanian PM. md. 65 rifles, distinguishable by their foregrips, open sights and underfolding stocks.
