The Remington Model 1858 is used by several Confederates including Jake Roedel (Tobey Maguire).
Another revolver seen used by Confederate forces is the Colt 1851 Navy, notably carried by Pitt Mackeson (Jonathan Rhys Meyers).
Springfield 1861
The Springfield Model 1861 was the primary shoulder arm during the Civil War.
Sharps 1863 Cavalry Carbine
Several Confederates are seen armed with Sharps 1863 Cavalry Carbines in the film.
Winchester Model 1866 Yellow Boy
