Revision as of 00:58, 24 September 2011
The following guns can be found in the game Project IGI 2: Covert Strike:
Sidearms
Glock 17
The Glock 17 referred to as the 'G17 SD' is the starting pistol in the Russian levels and comes with a suppressor. It provides accurate but weak firepower. Robert Quest holds one while betraying David Jones during the final cutscene of the 'Production Facility' mission.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle Mark XIX appears in the game being used by Zaleb Said and his guards in the Libyan missions and also by a Chinese scientist in the 'Secret Weapons Lab' mission. It is one of the most powerful pistols in the game.
Heckler & Koch Mk 23 Mod 0
The Heckler & Koch Mark 23 is referred in-game as the 'SOCOM' and comes with a usable LAM unit. It provides suppressed but effective shots and is used by David in the Libyan mission. Anya holds one in the last cutscene of the game.
Colt Anaconda
Can only be found in the multiplayer.
Makarov PM
Used by Russian guards and also by Russian and Chinese scientists as a backup weapon. Wu Xing uses one to kill Philip White, who accused him of having executed Quest. Interestingly, during this cinematic the Makarov uses the Desert Eagle's firing sound, most likely due to the more dramatic sound of the Desert Eagle.
Heckler & Koch SMG II
It comes with a suppressor, and is used by David only.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5
Available in the game as MP5A3. Although the MP5 in the game is a A3 model it offers the 3-round burst option. The player starts the game with this weapon, and it is seen in the hands of a Libyan guard.
IMI Uzi
Used by Libyan guards. Double-wielded Uzi can only be found in the multiplayer.
Ingram MAC-10
Used by Russian guards.
Type 64 SMG
Used by Chinese special forces.
Assault Rifles
Norinco Type 56
Wrongly referred in the game as AK-47. Used by Russian and Chinese guards and Libyan special forces. Strangely, if Jach Priboi is executed in the 'Libyan Rendezvous' mission, he will drop one, even though he is supposed to be unarmed.
M16A2/M203
Can be found in the Russian missions, used by David. It is also the equipment of the IGI special forces during the last cutscene of the game (for some reason, during this cinematic, the M16A2s use the G36E's firing sound).
Heckler & Koch G36E
Can be found in the Libyan missions. Used by David only.
Steyr AUG
Can be found in the Chinese missions. Used by David only.
Heckler & Koch G11
Used by General Wu Xing in a Chinese mission. Unrealistically can fire only in semi-auto. Offers a scoped view.
Shotguns
Franchi SPAS-12
Used by Russian special forces.
Pancor Jackhammer
Can be found in the Libyan missions, and is used by Priboi and Zaleb.
Benelli M4 Super 90
Used by Libyan and Chinese special forces.
Sniper Rifles
SVD Dragunov
Used by Russian and Chinese guards.
Heckler & Koch PSG-1
Available in the game as PSG-1 and as well as PSG-1 SD. Used by Libyan special forces.
Barrett M82A1
Available in the game as M82A1 and as well as M82A1 with Thermal vision scope. Used by Chinese special forces.
Heavy Weapons
FN Minimi
Used by Chinese guards and is also found in the Libyan missions. Robert Quest uses one before he is killed.
RPG-7
Used by Chinese guards and Libyan special forces.
LAW 80
Can only be found in the multiplayer.
Grenades
L2A2
The grenade in the game is a L2A2, the British version of the M26.
ALS T-470 Stun Grenade
Used by Russian, Libyan and Chinese special forces. http://www.alstechnologies.com/index.php?page=ALST470 - looks like a same grenade in IGI 2 --RedCharger 15:17, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
M18 Smoke Grenade
Can only be found in the multiplayer.
