:I was never told that the ''majority'' of the weapons had to be real, just that [[Rules, Standards and Principles#Standards#General Standards for pages#It must have more than one real firearm in it|at least two did]] (or in this case, 6; the M61 Vulcan, the RPG-7, the Walther P5, the Heckler & Koch SMG, and the AK-47s and M16A1s in the ED) and even then we have plenty of quality pages that only denote one firearm , and many of the fictional ones (namely the futuristic Kalashnikov and the semi-auto pistols) could be mistaken for real world designs pretty easily if the reader isn't weapons-savvy.--[[User:PistolJunkie|PistolJunkie]] 00:32, 17 August 2011 (CDT)

Why does this exist?

I was never told that the majority of the weapons had to be real, just that at least two did (or in this case, 6; the M61 Vulcan, the RPG-7, the Walther P5, the Heckler & Koch SMG, and the AK-47s and M16A1s in the ED) and even then we have plenty of quality pages that only denote one firearm , and many of the fictional ones (namely the futuristic Kalashnikov and the semi-auto pistols) could be mistaken for real world designs pretty easily if the reader isn't weapons-savvy.--PistolJunkie 00:32, 17 August 2011 (CDT)
