Falling Skies is a 2011 TNT science fiction television series co-created by Steven Spielberg. Set sometime after an alien invasion has wiped out most of Earth's population, the series stars Noah Wyle as Tom Mason, a former college professor who become involved in the resistance movement consisting of soldiers and civilians that rises up against the occupying alien force.
The following guns can be seen in the upcoming series Falling Skies:
Throughout Season 1, Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) carries an AKM as his preferred weapon.
Norinco Type 56-1
Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) is also see carrying a Norinco Type 56-1, the Chinese underfolding stock copy of the AKMS, with its distinctive hooded front sight.
Several resistance fighters are seen armed with Norinco Type 56 rifles.
L1A1 SLR
The British variant of the FN FAL rifle, the L1A1 SLR is seen in the hands of of a resistance fighter inside a grocery store.
Heckler & Koch Rifle
A rifle of the Heckler & Koch pattern can be seen being used by the human survivors. It is possible that this is the civilian version of the Heckler & Koch G3, the HK91, as noted by the lack of the grenade launching lug on the barrel. It also appears to have a flashlight attached to side of the front sight block.
Rifles
M1 Garand
An M1 Garand can be seen on the right of this promotional image with the butt rested on the ground.
Sonya, a woman that Tom, Hal, and Weaver encounter in Boston, fires on the group with a Karabiner 98k, an interesting choice for a survivor of the attack. Note The weapon has a hooded front sight, indicating that it is of late to post war manufacture.

Pope is seen with a scoped M1A, the civilian version of the M14, in a promo.
A Winchester Model 1300 is seen fired by a resistance fighter at a human checkpoint.
Mossberg 590a1 Special Purpose
A Mossberg 590 is used by Weaver in Episode 6 to dispatch a skitter on route to kill/capture Jimmy. The 8-shot is parkerized with ghost-ring sites; whether or not the Speedfeed is present, cannot be seen.
A variant of the Colt M1911A1 is carried by Maggie (Sarah Carter), fitted with ivory grips. She is seen to carry 2 of theses in a black leather shoulder rig.
Para-Ordnance Nite-Tac
A stainless steel Para-Ordnance Nite-Tac (LDA family) carried by Tom Mason (Noah Wyle), as noted by the double-stack magwell, DA trigger, and rail.
The Beretta 92FS Inox is given to Moon Bloodgood's character by Maggie after an incident in the clinic.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
A Browning M2HB can be seen mounted on a resistance technical.
FN M240B
Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) can be seen firing an M240B when his squad ambushes Pope's bandits. Anthony and another survivor carry a similar weapon. The Falling Skies website mistakenly refers to it as a .50 Caliber weapon, when, in fact, it uses the .308 Winchester round.
PKM
A PKM machine gun is seen being fired by Hal Mason (Drew Roy) when his squad ambushes the gang at the end of the first episode.
Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) can be seen firing an RPG-7. The Falling Skies website erroneously refers to it as a "Bazooka", a completely different weapon system.

Molotov Cocktail
Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) fashions a molotov cocktail to distract several gun-wielding "harness" kids, when surrounded in the motorcycle store.
