Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Officer Tom Hanson (Johnny Depp) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 10 as his patrol weapon during the pilot episode, as does his partner Charlie (Barney Martin).
Colt Python
Due to a continuity error, Hanson's (Johnny Depp) Smith & Wesson becomes a Colt Python during a shot in the pilot episode.
Browning Hi-Power
Officer Doug Penhall (Peter DeLuise) carries a pistol that appears to be a blued Browning Hi-Power during the pilot episode.
Single Action Army
Captain Richard Jenko (Frederic Forrest) carries a nickel Single Action Army with pearl grips as his main sidearm during the pilot episode.
Colt Trooper Mk V
A drug dealer draws his Colt Trooper Mk V on Hanson (Johnny Depp), who grabs it from him and uses it to arrest him during the pilot episode.

Tyrell "Waxer" Thompson (Reginald T. Dorsey) draws a nickel semi-automatic from his jacket during the pilot episode, firing it at Hanson. It appears to be a 1911 derivative, stainless Browning hi-power, or a S&W semi-auto.
